And Bord Gais said "contact the ESB". 1. ESB won't pay compensation for storm outages 2. I have no contract with the ESB, my contract is with Bord Gais and it's Bord Gais who have a contract with the ESB - they can squabble between them, not my problem 3. Even forgetting compensation, Bord Gais have stated that their policy regarding the current storm is that customers who they could not supply electricity to (as in the only reason I am in contract with them) still have to pay the standing charge. I literally told the guy on the phone that they could get fucked. Between the ESB, Bord Gais and the customer, the customer is least at fault. They all still get paid, we get no electricity and we are meant to shut up. You must be having a joke buddy.
