@randomyoko I feel like this whole issue stems from a fundamentally destructive belief that "Black people can't be racist". Which has been at the core of many issues we see reoccurring across culture that defend tokenization like this.

Good take wtf?
The Colombian president started the fight on accepting undocumented immigrants back into his country. His main complaint was that they were coming on a military plane and that's inhumane treatment. Good news, you can treat them as humanely as you like when you have them back.

@randomyoko I've had arguments with people about it, and for some reason, these people think it's perfectly acceptable for a Japanese Assassins Creed's main character to be a black man. It defies all logic and is impossible to argue with because they are just emotional and make no sense.

All things considered, 11 years was probably about the right sentence for his crimes. I really don't get why people compare him to Assange, who engaged in obviously protected 1st amendment activity. Very different from operating an illegal drug market.
