The Astros currently sit 6.5 games back from the division lead. In July 1st last year they sat 5 games back and ultimately won the division. This season isn’t anywhere close to being over…
If I’m Espada I’m giving Bregman the night off and starting Dubon at 3B.
1. Altuve 2B
2. Peña SS
3. Alvarez DH
4. Tucker RF
5. Diaz C
6. Singleton 1B
7. Loperfido CF
8. Dubon 3B
9. Cabbage LF (giving him a start on his birthday)
The Astros are missing leadership in the clubhouse, that seems to be the biggest issues. Losing guys like Michael Brantley, Martin Maldonado and Hector Neris has been a big hit.
Will someone step up in time? Who will step up?
Who knows.
Yainer catches a No-Hitter from Blanco who probably doesn’t make the team if everyone is healthy but yet we are going to claim he’s calling bad pitches right down broadway?
@michaelschwab13
Why are we stirring crap up on a day that should be happy. The fact is…like him or not, Dusty doesn’t have to answer to anyone or apologize to anyone but his higher ups. All that matters is winning…not who’s playing or not. Just win.
@ProjectStrider
Just wish they would change the derby back to outside instead of timed. Also, bring back wearing your teams uniform for the game and not some whack all star jersey.
@michaelschwab13
I get that the posts have been lame so far but people have way too much time on their hands if they are going after the admins. Very sad.
@jakedc6
Crane made Yordan and Bregman have extreme down seasons? And Yainer have an extreme sophomore slump? And Pressly for how to pitch? And the entire starting rotation get hurt? I get what you’re saying but sometimes a run just comes to an end no matter what you do.
@MarkBerman_
I’m not seeing any effort. I know he has to go up there and say nice things but don’t make up lies. The ABs aren’t competitive…seems like we walk the lead off hitter every inning. There is no effort.
@Brodiesmith21
You’re making me lose a lot of respect for you with all of you antics the last couple of days. You are doing more harm than good. Worry about actually making the cut and less about Twitter drama.
@Brodiesmith21
Agreed. Saying Kristen is the 'GOAT' might be a little premature just because she hasn’t done it quite as long, but she is the most talented and skillful FPO player to ever play.
@RoFlo
Bruh the shy isn’t falling. There is too much talent on the team for the doom and gloom speech in April. Come June/July and this is still going on then fire away.
@TheAstrosLocker
As far as Chas coming back I don’t see why it’s out of the realm of possibilities to Platoon he and Loperfido in LF primarily until one or the other outright takes hold of it. I don’t need to see Yordan play the field any. Make him the full time DH already.
@FDG_Hunter_T
They are a disc golf company that sells discs and makes a lot of great content and podcasts. The core of the group are solid Christian guys that make you feel like you’re one of them.

@Cappy5514
What would constitute a major Issue? I don’t think there’s anything wrong with moving him down until he figures it out. It’s a very valid complaint. Hitting one of your current worst hitters in the top 4 spots is wild!
@RobFontenot
Abreu was one of our best hitters to begin the season and was on a 10 game hitting streak but as soon as he tails off it’s all about how great Yuli is doing…makes sense.
I legit don’t understand the weird persistence in wanting to see Joe Espada get ejected. I understand the whole thing about “showing some fire” and what not but the manager’s main job isn’t to get ejected, or get into any kind of conflict with umpires at all. It’s not the number
In Framber’s previous 6 starts this season he gave up 2 total HRs….whyyyy are we acting like this is something he does every game? Yes he’s a notorious head case but he’s also a damn good pitcher who got too cute. Relax.
I’m getting really annoyed with people dogging Espada for not pulling a starter at the first sign of trouble. Read the room and know the situation…they do not have the luxury to pull the starters early every night right now. Sometimes you have to let them battle it out a bit.
Complaining about Alex Bregman batting at fourth is silly. I think people just love to complain to complain.
If you really want to do something, go to the game and give him a standing ovation when he’s at the plate like Phillies fans did for Turner.
I doubt you will, though.
