@colossusPhD I don’t recall multiple citizenships being an issue when Andrew Scheer was leader of the Conservative party… or have we forgotten about that?

@canmericanized Thanks you for giving us a “Moron alert” before posting your comment. Let us know exactly what to expect from you! I wish everyone would do this right before saying something stupid.

@indieauntieowl @MlvVic @RNicholasBurns @joey_helmer In fact, as recently as two weeks ago, the USA received foreign aid from Canada. Bunch of firefighters and water bombers as I recall…

@haupt1991 @Momyoffour4 @kreat30D @RandPaul From Canada? Oh, sweet child, no no no no. They certainly aren’t. The single biggest is heavy crude oil. Energy, raw materials and agricultural goods comprise well over half. You are getting way down the list before you get to assembly and postproduction.

@Momyoffour4 @kreat30D @RandPaul Most of what you import is raw materials. You can’t relocate the mines, oil fields, farms, hydroelectric dams, etc etc. and a lot of that stuff just doesn’t exist in America (ask a farmer what potash is and then realize America has almost none and 80% of it comes from Canada).

@logicalraptor13 @Rudedog9422 @RandPaul You’re right about the raw materials part (hard to relocate mines, forests, farms, oil fields, or hydroelectric dams). But at least as far as Canada is concerned, all of these and more were generally sold to the American market at a pretty steep discount to world market prices.

@Imsokansas @DABILOZ @williamwester88 @IanJaeger29 Problem is, the countries you’re aiming tariffs at aren’t selling you a lot of manufactured goods. Canada isn’t moving their mines, hydro electric dams, and oil fields; and Mexico isn’t moving their farms.

@SNewmanPodcast Interestingly enough, our PM doesn’t need to be elected at all - it’s happened twice that we’ve had PMs who were not members of the House of Commons and if Carney wins, it could happen again. The only requirement is they command the confidence of the house - not be part of it.

@MarthKoopa @asilverbr @TrueNorthCentre Right? There was once an army who marched around wearing black uniforms with skulls on them and somehow still didn’t know they were the bad guys. Enter America, literally explaining just how breath-taking evil they are, and somehow still not knowing they are the bad guys.

@_Steezus_Christ @tjd__94 @TotallyNotLoser @Lyric091305 @itstaytaylors You’re actually making the correct point, just in a very strange way. America is the exception. The rest of the planet is the standard.

@shamman76 @The_New_Roman @itstaytaylors One means I’m a student attending class. The other means I’m in the building where students attend classes. I’m in hospital means I’m a patient at a medical facility. I’m in the hospital means I’m in the building where patients receive medical care.

@tango_hote19944 @KellyPickard3 @turnerwestvan @Harry__Faulkner lol… ok buddy. We’re kind of busy putting out your fire for you right now, but once we finish that up we’ll be happy to pick up this very well thought out point you’re trying to make.

@KevinMc06826436 @turnerwestvan @Harry__Faulkner This is the big one that is totally flying under the radar in the states. Farmers are losing their minds with planting season just around the corner… meanwhile most Americans have no clue what potash is or how not having it will completely wreck their lives.

@realDonaldTrump The Marines are out there marching to a song about the shores of Tripoli, wondering what the heck happened to America…

@1000HolyPlaces @8WithaTiara @TQ182 I mean, based on her pfp alone I’d guess that she was about 12 years old when Obamacare was debated in the first place. I know you and I were all over politics at age twelve, but it’s reasonable to think that most kids were not.
