Sadiq Khan says his "thoughts on expansion of Heathrow haven't changed" and we "face a climate emergency" Slightly slaps down suggestions he might look at a legal challenge... "There's no money set aside for the budget based on speculation,.. I've seen no proposals from Heathrow, no plans for a new runway, no announcement from the government "The aviation sector is important for growth, jobs and prosperity, but we face a climate crisis and a climate emergency... "The CCC set out quite clearly its recommendations, which is that the only time expansion of aviation should be considered if it abides with our commitments... Three big concerns that need to be addressed... could a new runway be built to abide with our carbon targets, noise pollution and air pollution? "Should that speculation become a reality, we will of course consider the merits of that case "My thoughts on an expansion of Heathrow by a new runway haven't changed." @LBC

@paulgibbins I remember when we lost to Cardiff (I think the game Kenedy stunk it up) and Josh Murphy looked v good for them and there was chatter of 'we signed the wrong Murphy'. He's always been a very good squad player - and better than Almiron for sure.
