Born on the same day, same year, in the same city & ended up in the same school. We became best friends at 13 when a teacher punished us for arguing too much 😂. At 18 we realised we were kinda falling for each other & decided to give love a go. 10 yrs later he put a ring on it!
Up until my wedding my dad was being secretive with his outfit. I had to remind him that he can’t be the star of the show on my wedding day.
Did he listen? No 😂 during our dance he ate me up with this button down Agbada trick I had no choice but to surrender 😂❤️❤️ love him sm
I’m so moved by the outpouring of support behind my story about Kobe. And I love that

Waited 5 hours in the passport office to get my NIN and renew my Nigerian passport and when it was time to finally take my picture and go home they said they couldn’t take it because my lashes aren’t real. They said I should bring scissors to cut them 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃
Confident girl summer is a season of being unapologetic in your glow, being where the money resides, embracing the body you have, laughing more, living more, owning your greatness and killing it all day everyday.
30 looks good on us! Happy birthday to my twin flame and I! our first birthday as husband and wife and it was so special. Grateful to God for the gift of life and for this beautiful love ❤️
This no fake lashes allowed is a complete lie and just another way to control women. They tried it with me 3 years ago and my story went viral and reached Abuja. They called me back the next day to come and take my picture WITH my lashes and begged me to delete my tweet.

I feel like when he wrapped me in his Agbada it was a metaphor for the way he has wrapped me in his love my whole life. There’s no dream he hasn’t supported, no encouragement he hasn’t given. I’m truly forever grateful to have him.
Final update 😂: They apologised, took my picture WITH the lashes and printed the new passport same day. Appaz my tweet reached Abuja LOL Thanks for all your support guys and remember to always speak up!
I remember when I looked at my bank account in March and cried because all my bookings got cancelled.
I’m looking at it again in July and crying for a different reason! Made £10,000 during lockdown. Thank you God!
You don’t become the dream version of yourself through hope and luck. You become the dream version of yourself through intentional choices and practice.
It’s SO IRRESPONSIBLE that the UK does not require you to take a Covid test before entry and also does not do any temperature checks or even rapid testing at airports. We’re going to carry on being in a vicious lockdown cycle with no real progress being made
@BorisJohnson
Instead of thinking you’re a failure, here are 3 healthier ways to look at rejection:
1. Timing isn’t right
2. Opportunity isn’t right
3. You need a bit more time to grow
A divine union - both born on the same day, in the same year, in the same neighbourhood. Have been together for 10 years and now get celebrate our love for a lifetime. Thank you God
more wholesome content 🥹 in 2022 I published my book called Confident and Killing It to help women overcome their fears, show up with confidence and thrive in life. Here’s the message my dad sent me when he read it. My heart actually melted. A copy is always beside his bed.
Sat down with my mum Adenike Ogunlesi, Founder and CEO of Ruff n Tumble and Lions Den Judge to talk about how to turn your dreams into reality and manifest your deepest desires. The BARS she dropped! Out now on all podcast platforms and YouTube
Ok this really important- a man just called me from “NatWest Fraud Team” that someone in Ireland has logged into my online banking and has set up a direct debit to their account. Fraud got done on my card recently and so I wasn’t surprised to hear this again...
Update on this: So my tweet went viral and The Head Controller at the passport office has invited me for a meeting this afternoon. This time I’m going with my daddy so no one can play games with me. 😂
September affirmations:
I trust that my hard work will pay off
When things get tough I can rest instead of quitting
I will keep the promises I make to myself and follow through with action
This is literally how I walked out when the men told me my “lashes were casting a shadow on my face and distorting my God given appearance”. I left my passport there. I paid good money for these lashes 😅
Girl logic - My husband is out so it’s my turn to cook dinner tonight but I’m tired and we’re meant to be cutting back on takeaway…so I’ve ordered takeaway for myself to give me energy and then I’ll cook for him after I eat 😅
My dad never drops the phone without saying Love you. Has supported every business idea and every extra curricular. Made me believe I was 100% unstoppable and worthy of my dreams. Oh and no one can step to us on the dance floor

To everyone leaving their comfort zone and taking a leap of faith to try something new or explore a more fulfilling path, please know you can never lose when you bet on yourself.
Clarity will come, doors will open, take one step at a time.
You’ve already won.
Thank you all for the lovely messages! Glad I could bring so much joy to the TL. If you’re a dad or aspire to be one, I pray your children never doubt how much you love them! Happy Father’s Day ❤️

We don’t need more safety measures for women. We need men educated on how to manage anger issues so they don’t feel the need to kill innocent women.
3 things to quit before 2021:
1. Doubting yourself and your abilities
2. Always imagining the worst outcome
3. Caring too much about what others think of you
Capitalism thrives off women not feeling good enough. If our youthfulness ends at 30 we will spend 50+ years spending money buying products to make us feel younger
I told someone I’m 26 and they said “four years left, enjoy it while it lasts” 🥴
Women don’t stop existing/lose their appeal at 30, I don’t understand where this notion comes from.
I’m planning on doing a Jane Goodall and being captivating at 86.

today. I’m a big woman ya knowww!! Google has been on my vision board of companies to work with since Nov 2019 and not even a year later here we are!!
What good is it to be “accepted” by society only to be at war with yourself inside? Please learn to prioritise your freedom over what others may think of you.
“Nigerians are the only people you can push up against a wall and they’ll break the wall down to keep moving backwards” - sad but true because the shit we put up with is wild. It needs to end.

A big game changer for your mental health is learning how to filter your thoughts. Not every thought that comes into your head is the absolute truth.
Here are 3 questions to ask yourself to help decide whether or not to believe in a thought: 🧵
I asked my bf if I should buy both of us the Gaia robe. He said sure.
I asked if he would take pictures in it with me. He said no.
I bought only one robe lmao

Am I the only one who is either feeling like I’m never doing enough or on the extreme end of feeling overwhelmed because I’m doing to much?? Like is there a middle ground?
Google also notified me some of my passwords appeared in 20 data breaches but the severity of that didn’t really sink in so I ignored it. I just looked and a lot of the sites in the breach had my personal info. 😩 that’s how they knew so much. Change your passwords kids.
I’m sharing this because if my friend hadn’t told me about her fraud story I would have probably gone along with this.
Even if someone has all your personal details doesn’t mean they’re legit! And also never move your money to another account that someone has created for you.
As the eldest daughter I hereby hand in my resignation letter as the family manager. Good luck to all involved and wishing you all the best in my absence.

I find it so interesting that after Burna Boy makes history as the first African artist to sell out a UK stadium the narrative of him being a “small boy” / “new cat” is coming out. People love to humble you when they see you at the top of your game.
A few life lessons as I reflect on the last day of my 20’s …
1. Life happens in seasons. There will always be good and bad. There will be joy and pain. Don’t fight the tough days, they don’t last and ultimately everything will workout for my good.
When you’re feeling down instead of asking yourself - ‘what’s wrong with me?’
Ask instead -‘which of my needs haven’t I met?’
The former makes you feel helpless, the latter gives you a clearer path forward
