This is fucking abhorrent. Mum had brain and bowel cancer. I genuinely have no idea how we lived for those three (ish) years before she died, but I know that she wouldn't have been able to work for 10 hours a week. Any respect I had for Luxon is gone. Utter cunt.
Here's Luxon saying he believes that someone on the JobSeeker benefit, who has cancer, should still be looking to work 10 hours a week:

there is literally nothing wrong with this statement and the pearl clutchers can go fuck themselves.
Aotearoa New Zealand š³šæis deeply concerned at the outbreak of conflict between Israel and Gaza. We call for the immediate cessation of violence. The protection of all civilians, and upholding of international humanitarian law is essential.

I was in a head on crash in December ā we were doing about 60 and they were doing about 80. If we had both been doing 100, Iād probably be severely injured, or dead. Lower speed limits save lives. This is a wreckless move that will lead to a higher road toll.
#BREAKING ā Reversals to Labourās blanket speed limit reductions start tonight and will be in place by 1 July! . Kiwis rejected Labourās blanket speed limit reductions and our Government is delivering.

ā¦all three pandoro cafes are in places that have not had cycleways or bus lanes installed. .
Wellington's Pandoro cafes are closing down today, the latest in a string of hospitality and retail closures in the capital. Owner Tony Beazley told @NewstalkZB he blames the struggling local economy and the council removing car parking by building bus and cycle lanes.
