2024 resolutions:
Live every single day @ 100% intensity
Run search and destroy missions on everything holding me back
Organise my life like it’s Operation Overlord
Fire more shots at random to see what happens
As a man at some point in your life, however hard you try not too, you’ll catch urself saying or doing something exactly as ur father would have. And it will terrify you.
Once you meet enough people you realise that there’s not that many different people out there. you can categorise most people with an alarming degree of accuracy rapidly at that point.
To stop this we have to look at why in our childhood, time felt like it was going by slowly.
-We were constantly having new experiences
-We were constantly learning
-We werent multitasking, but present at all times
One of the hardest mindset shifts to make around money is that it is possible to make significantly more money and it be easier than whatever the fuck you’re doing now is
No matter how hard you try, it’s impossible to outrun the archetype you were born to be. But just know when you lean into it the world moves 10x faster.
Testosterone and heartbreak, pain and humiliation is the ultimate fuel. This combination alone is probably responsible for more money, art, music being created than anything in the history of the world.
U should cherish the time ur single. It’s the only chance u have to fully set urself on fire in the pursuit of a dream without worrying about someone else
There’s an archetype I call the chosen one: insanely magnetic and charismatic in their youth, life peaks early and they’re washed up and finished by 21.
Biggest self confidence boosts will never come from bagging a bad b or getting the Rolex but from deliberately taking dramatic pivots when life is gucci to prove to urself that you are the master of your own destiny
Skill issues are solved by reps. Luck issues are solved by trying again. You’ll quickly figure out which one is which.
(And 99% of the time being unlucky is cope for a skill issue)
If u want to truly understand human nature and the archetypes, you need to be operating @ extremes. Thats where all the degenerates, weirdos and winners all are.
28 is the age where paths diverge. This is where the killers who survived the initial post college foray into mediocrity push through or fall trap to barbecues and ball games.
It’s fucking insane how 27 is the death knell for 80% of ppl. No, you’re probably not gonna be the exception, whatever energy you’re going into 30 with is who you are
One of the hardest parts of growth ppl don’t talk about is that u have to come to terms with difficult truths about urself and where your strengths really lie. Have those conversations, stomach that pain and lean in. The world is yours.
The bar is insanely low. even above average effort, SUSTAINED 4 long periods of time will put u into a very good position. xtreme effort in 1 area coupled w/even below average effort sustained in areas where 99.9% of people aren’t even trying will result in massive wins.
Worst pain from progressing isn’t the work you have to put in. It’s seeing the results of the work and realising you could have had everything you ever wanted much sooner.
Fastest way to get what u want is to turn up in person. Ppl take you much more seriously when you rock up at their front door instead of being a pussy and sending passive aggressive emails or hiding behind your phone.
Robert was cooking when said in 48 laws of power
Avoid the unlucky
Because chances are they choose to be unlucky
Lesson in there somewhere
Energy is contagious bro
Being broke forces u to get creative when dating girls. Can’t impress them with fancy dining or bottle service so have to create wild adventures to go on instead.
You have to do everything in your power to maintain momentum. Means not taking days off or holidays, saying no the 3am nights out with your boys and everything else that forces you to slow down or take a breather.
insane mental resilience is a gift from God. If you have it, treat it as the gift it is and don't resent those not as blessed as you, who come to rely on your strength.
Have to maintain eyes on the prize and keep moving forward, whilst having a deep appreciation for the present and the fact it could all be over tomorrow.
when you're a loser u can lean into the fact that u are a total piece of shit as motivation and use it to turbocharge you. when you have w's under your belt u have to be a rare breed to be able to use the same technique.
If I could give one piece of advice to guys in their early twenties: work extremely fucking hard, play extremely fucking hard and don’t do anything in the middle.
Music is a massively underrated tool, most ppl never figure this out bc they just listen to whatever generates a dopamine rush. U have to use the right music for what u want to accomplish.
Willing to bet that ability to learn skills and the number of skills you hold will be the biggest two differentiators of success in the next decade. The age of the highly specific worker is dead. The age of the multi talented solopreneur is here.
A lot of guys think the ideal woman is some dumb bimbo who stays at home all day. I can tell u right now that if you have so much as a modicum of ambition you will hate having a millstone of mediocrity around ur neck
I’m always just getting started no matter what I’m doing. Never let the child inside u die. The long game is the way. Live as many lives in 1 as humanly possible. Always take the scenic route. Mission & vision > everything else. Grateful for everything, blessed beyond imagination
Problem with addiction is that once u become an addict there will always be a part of you who is the alcoholic/cocaine addict/junkie/cig fiend/etc. there is simply no escape.
Of all the emotions, regret is the stupidest. You never know what life had in store has you done anything differently. Almost all of us have been seconds from death without even realising it, saved by dumb luck and random decisions that altered our timeline by split seconds.
If you’re an explorer you need to make peace with the fact that you will eventually reach your chosen destination, but you will take the most roundabout way possible and that is your nature.
And that’s where all the fun is.
Joy of going through so much hell between your late teens to late twenties on the come up, is that when shit comes your way now you laugh bc u know it could be so much worse
There’s not a more accurate meme than the ‘it’s a skill issue’. Almost everything is a skill so if you’re broke or underperforming, there’s a skills gap somewhere you need to plug.
Before going out to build a personal brand you need to actually achieve things and have real shit happen to you, so you don’t have to spin your high school drama into one of Aesops fables.
Case in point:
Most of you have never been betrayed
Like TRULY betrayed.
And you can't call yourself a man until that happens.
About a year ago I had a best friend
His name sound a lot like "Anon" so let's call him that.
Anon lived in the same neighborhood as me
I'd let him come over 2-3
If u want to win u have to take on huge responsibilities and solve complex problems but approach them as you would have done as a child; full of enthusiasm, curiosity, confidence and the attitude that it is all just a game.
There are certain points in life where ppl drop off and settle:
-high school graduation
-uni graduation
-first srs relationship
-late twenties
The rest of us are just getting started tho.
Gotta free up time to go down rabbit holes. This is where the real learning is, where many of the chances to unlock life changing opportunities are. Can’t do this when you’re working 15 hours a day.
You have to leapfrog your way to the top. Fuck rankings. Fuck others status in the game. Never made more strides than when I told myself I was fucking sick at something when all material evidence pointed to the contrary.
There is no one way to establish which archetype you are. You figure it out through a prolonged process of trial by fire, pushing yourself to the edge and living as authentically as possible.
One of the hardest mindset shifts to make around money is that it is possible to make significantly more money and it be easier than whatever the fuck you’re doing now is
Story time: after my 18th bday I went to buy alcohol legally for the 1st time. Dude serving me was late 30s Reddit npc type. I remember him looking at my ID and telling me ‘it all goes downhill from here’. Made a promise 2 myself that night that his reality wouldn’t be mine
had scarcely believable shit happen to me that i can barely comprehend, but what motivates me more than anything is my unshakeable belief that my greatest moment is not in the past but is yet to be realised. i'm just getting started.
At your lowest moments, you have to promise yourself that you will make sure a day will come where all of todays wrongs are put right.
Sleeping in car > 7 fig apartment in the city
Heartbreak > raise a family with a 10
Biz failure > business of epic proportions
To name a few…
Problem with setting goals 5+ years out is that you fall in to the trap of thinking you have lots of time. The days pass by you and you’re no closer to your goal. You have to compress the timeline and live at max intensity. Insert 1 year into 3 months. 4 years into 1.
Sometimes the best way to solve a problem is just not to look at it for 2 months and then instantly fix it in 2 minutes with the benefit of fresh eyes.
Upside of doing highly illegal shit is that it forces you not to be a normie
>Nokia 6610i instead of iPhone
>Cash/crytpo in lieu of debit cards
>no social media in real name
>treat everyone like a potential fed
Every time my girl takes a selfie of us, I’m reminded that one of the most accurate measurements of how much of a g u are is how ugly u r compared to ur girl. If ur a 5 punching with a 9 u know u’ve got something about you.
By your mid twenties you need to have built out your own playbook, methodologies and systems to get shit that moves the needle done. Doesn’t mean you can’t iterate but you should have a list to call upon.
The Normies wear a mask to blend in. They never drop it. The killers either have no mask at all and operate through sheer authenticity or tactically deploy masks to achieve their objectives.
Normies view the world in rankings. Think you always need experience to progress to the next level. Killers see rankings, think fuck it and leapfrog them straight to the top anyway.
