I think they consider Japanese culture as sacred and almost mystical in how pure it is, so in their logic, corrupt western hands can only be a bad influence–except if the translation is done by One Of Them, which pros surely can not be. (😑)

So English is not my mother tongue, and I really thought "It can't be helped" was a frequent saying. I think good translations are not only great for native speakers but also for learners, since for many of us, videogames are the primary way of learning.

I've been a Fannibal for about three years, I guess. I hit 20 two hours ago. Mizumono is my favorite episode, and overall S2 my favorite season. Began watching for Hugh Dancy, stayed for the gays and ~subtle~ cannibal puns. 🍽️

Ils ont une vision de nous et ils ont rarement envie de la changer. Tu auras une copine (et même si t'es gay, ça peut changer), des enfants ("tu me feras au moins des petits-enfants, hein") et un job respectable, et si tu refuses c'est que tu es immature.

Sense8 l'un des concepts c'est que la sexualité s'affranchit des normes établies (je pense en particulier à la dernière scène de la série), donc logique qu'il y ait des scènes de sexe gay.
