Ads and marketing efforts in general would need to look beyond “sales” and evoke the precise emotions/nerves necessary to elicit needed actions (engagement, a purchase, bookmark, add to cart etc) instead of sales-focused Ads.

Conviction on its own is rooted in the art of persuasion. The ability to understand the psyche of your target audience (Gen Z inclusive). That gives you an upper hand in understanding what works and what doesn’t.

I’m not going to dispute the effectiveness of community-based marketing
But I also believe that the reason Web3 is heavily based on it is because it’s still largely focused on educating the populace.
Once this is achieved, Web 3 will spread its wings to “conventional” marketing.
Web2 companies should learn from Web3’s community-based marketing approach.
When executed effectively, it can offer a more sustainable alternative to conventional ad campaigns.
