The Sir Victor Horsley Lecture for

was given by best selling author & retired neurosurgeon Henry Marsh.
His excellent talk, entitled "AMH to AMW, Forty Years of Neurosurgery" detailed his time working at the Atkinson Morley Hospital & some of AMH's long history.

Ten neurosurgeons attending inc our president, former staff from the Middlesex hospital and nine of DB’s extended family
Today Britain’s first female neurosurgeon, Diana Beck, has been commemorated with a blue plaque 🔵
The plaque will mark her former home and consulting rooms in Marylebone where she lived while working at Middlesex Hospital as its very first neurosurgeon. 🧠
