@DWLundberg movies with the Thunderbolts characters. Of course I need more than character recognition but the trailer looked good and appealed to my taste. I’d rather watch a movie about outcasts who don’t think they’re heroes vs one about out and out villains.

That’s precisely it! Been a few times with friends but I’m priced out currently. Had a big family trip in 2018 with my parents, brother, sister-in law and their two kids. Been wanting to go again but literally the only reason we haven’t is the cost.
Some inside Disney worry that the company has become addicted to price hikes and has reached the limits of what middle-class Americans can afford, according to sources of @WSJ. (

I thoroughly enjoyed it and think the hate and criticism is way overblown. The original trilogy is still better but it’s close to those for me, redeeming itself from the misfire of Crystal Skull. Ford should be proud b/c Dial of Destiny gave the character & fans a lovely end.
Harrison Ford reacts to "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" flopping at the box office: "S--- happens." "I was really the one who felt there was another story to tell. When [Indy] had suffered the consequences of the life that he had to live, I wanted one more chance to pick him up and shake the dust off his ass and stick him out there, bereft of some of his vigor, to see what happened. I’m still happy I made that movie.” Read more here:

@ModernMouseJosh I feel like I saw this movie and yet have no memory of it. I need a re-watch.

@DWLundberg That’s fair. I was happy because I LOVE LOTR haha. But I remember another year where one movie (Mad Max: Fury Road) was winning a lot and feeling so annoyed!

@DWLundberg It’s his best performance in my opinion! I’m glad the film won other awards. Watching it for the first time last year, I was blown away. It’s so great when movies actually live up to the hype.

@DWLundberg b/c he’d gotten into a fight at Bafta. Not defending violence but it’s still eye opening that people don’t just vote on merit. Have to disagree about ROTK though. Yes it was predictable but they deserved it. Though I admit it felt like they were awarding the entire series.

@KirstyPearce17 I’ve never seen that version but definitely want to. I loved them together on Angel!

@DWLundberg @letterboxd Yeah it’s starts out pretty rough, but the third act is great. It doesn’t hold a candle to the others but that last hour is a necessary bridge to part 3.
