Sight is not the way most of these animals primarily register their world. Most map out their environment through scent or hearing. So seeing an animal, ANY animal, they didn't first register through their primary senses is super shocking.
The animal equivalent of a jump-scare.

There's a national group of people targeting cats to protect birds. They will kill your cat on sight to protect the native bird population. I neutered my cat at 8 weeks and trained him to never leave our fenced yard to protect him from other humans.

The reason this wasn't obvious was that bones used too many still shots when animating his movements. Had the used high-speed fluid animation, it'd be more obvious. Remember when he first fought 1a, a few kids thought he was teleporting too.

No he wasn't. Whenever he releases his quirk while phased into any mass, he's pushed out because two masses can't occupy the same space. He was using the nomu, the ground, hell any solid surface, to catapult from place to place at blinding speed.

I turned down a full scholarship to UM because I had other priorities. I started working as a receptionist for an insurance agency then got licensed. I make $20/hour and could make $30/hour but I choose to only work 20 hours a week. Way more than 10 jobs don't require college.
