I live in Switzerland and I come to the same conclusion as you. I have been visiting the US numerous times a year since 2006 and I can definitely see the decay. It’s very sad, and it’s everyone’s problem, as their huge influence still impacts everyone especially in the West.

Let’s just be clear: travel bans are NOT science based. It’s ONLY POLITICAL. People who travel are safe and test before and after travelling and often quarantine. They are oftentimes vaccinated. The vaccine reduces chances of propagation exponentially.
