Never forget…
Tampa Bay chose him in 2008.
In 2016, he could have left, but he chose Tampa Bay.
In the team’s 30th anniversary season, he records his 1,000th career point and 500th career goal.
All with the Lightning.

Florida added 4,049 new coronavirus cases in one day, breaking the previous record for most single-day cases set yesterday. The state is now approaching 94,000 infections since the first recorded case in March. 28 percent of the cases have come in the past 10 days.

Can we talk more about the fact that Mac waived his full no-trade clause to help the Bolts?
He still put the team first, even when he would no longer be a part of it.
Smashville is getting a superb defenseman and even better person.
Over in St. Pete, the Rays are about to begin a doubleheader.
In 9 hours in downtown Tampa, the Bolts will host Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final.

Being up 3-0 in a series is nice, but the job isn’t done yet. That fourth win is the hardest by far.
Don't let up.
Don't let your guard down.
Keep fighting.

It's hard to look at the photos and videos coming out of SWFL and be a mere 2½ hour drive north with, generally speaking, minimal damage.
That could have been Tampa Bay.
The guilt is real.
We can debate about where the stadium should be, but the fact remains that this team—our team—remaining here is most important.
Not relocating.
Not sharing it with another city.
Here. Full-time.
Today is a very good day to be a Rays fan in Tampa Bay.
Friendly reminder not to gatekeep hockey or, more specifically, our Bolts.
We all started out as new fans at one time. Don’t police who you think deserves (or doesn’t deserve) to be a fan. Period.
Be inclusive, not exclusive.

Game 4 is done.
Game 6 and 7 don’t exist.
It’s all about tomorrow night.
Game 5 is the only game that can be won tomorrow. Make them get on a plane and fly back to TPA. Come home for another game.

Some of y'all need some serious help. Literally everything is more important in life than sports and this is coming from an obsessed sports fan.
These are people's actual lives and families.
Do better.
Dear Nicholas Paul,
Whatever you injured, I will gladly donate mine to you. You’re already Blair’s favorite and have my first name as your last name, so it seems like a good fit anyway.

As a Lightning fan, I thoroughly enjoyed and approve of tonight’s playoff results.
And, for the remainder of these playoffs, this is now a bandwagon Kraken account.
Convinced that those who don't like hockey have never attended a game before.
I love football (and baseball) as much as the next person, but nothing compares to hockey, especially live. Nothing.
The Rays have an opportunity to win the AL East tonight.
The Lightning are in the Stanley Cup Final and tied in the series, 1-1.
The Bucs have Tom Brady as their QB and are tied for first in the NFC South.
Enjoy it,

Every time a Tampa Bay team has won a championship, the head coach has had some variation of the name John.
2002: Jon Gruden — Buccaneers
2004: John Tortorella — Lightning
2020: Jon Cooper — Lightning
Can hardly remember the last time I cheered for the Lightning without Steven Stamkos on the team.
It was the 07-08 season.
I was in college.
The Bolts finished dead last in the NHL.
Torts would be fired.
The 'cowboys' would buy the team (and run them into the ground).

Don’t think 15-year-old me truly understood the pressure of this situation.
Will forever be one of the most iconic goals in franchise history.
When someone says it’s “just sports”, they don’t get that it’s so much more than a game.
It’s community.
It’s going through the ups and downs together.
It’s coming together for a cause.
Moments like last night are among my favorite. Ever.

Such a cool moment for Stammer and the entire organization.

80-48.
32 games above 500.
4½ lead in the AL East.
+158 run differential.
This doesn’t happen every season. I remember those dreaded 100-loss seasons. Please appreciate this.

Do you remember the 28th night of September?
Three years ago, the Lightning won their second Stanley Cup in franchise history and first of a back-to-back.
Happy anniversary, Bolts fans.

I love you guys so damn much.
I wish I could hug each of you.
But I love this woman, who I had the privilege of introducing to hockey back in 2010 and who has felt the highs and lows of this team right along side me.
This is special. Enjoy it. But the job isn’t done.

Tampa Bay loves the Rays.
Build a new, centrally-located stadium, coupled with a light rail system, and watch the in-stadium support (and region) reach new heights.

Some times you’re not the better team. Through the first four games, the Bolts haven’t been.
There’s no shame in that. You tip your hat to COL.
Winning three in a row is possible. Against this team? That’s a very tall order, but I’ll always believe in them.
Always,

I don't care if you've been a fan since the inaugural game at The Barn in '92 or you just hopped aboard last week.
If you live in Tampa or Honolulu.
We're happy to have you and we need you—each of you—tomorrow. And every day.
Strike back.

The Rays are running a 50% off lower level tickets flash sale and their site has crashed, but, yes, keep telling me how no one in Tampa Bay cares about the Rays.
Four wins stand in the way.
This will very possibly be the toughest test yet in any of the last three playoff runs.

I've had it with the attendance talk.
I'm a Season Member.
I work and can't make it to three consecutive afternoon weekday games.
I live in downtown Tampa and go to games now (and will go to more in the future) in St. Pete.
I'm frustrated and don't know what else to say or do.
