#FelixNussbaum was born #onthisday to a Jewish family in Germany, in 1904 & was murdered in Auschwitz-Birkenau in 1944. Amazingly, he continued to paint throughout his life; his surviving works remain a testament to the horrors of Nazi oppression & the triumph of human spirit.
