This is very cool but not sure I follow that the American mind can’t comprehend
I comprehend and I have an American mind
We have trains that go across the country Chi to SF
Agree it’s very cool though
@HighyieldHarry
Yeah I have done this a few times when bill came in and it was outrageous
I have found that most of the time you can get a discount
The best thing to do is ask for a detailed breakdown of the bill, which most of the time they can't provide. Then say you cant pay if no detail
The American Mind Cannot Comprehend this
My favorite part about Amsterdam was biking thru the city and watching all the people commute and live their daily lives without cars
Amsterdam is def one of my top 5 cities I have ever been too

As a PE associate I acquired a well known plumbing / hvac platform
The owner who started as a plumber made $100M+
That day I went home and told my wife I fucked up and should have been a plumber
I’m surprised to read that PE associates are looking down on the trades!!🪠🚽🧻
Would you rather have $1 million today or $1,000 every month for the rest of your life?
I’ll take $1,000 a month, hands down
That’s called passive income
Figure out how to make passive income and it will change your life
You could be on the beach making $12k a year

My coffee shop now charges $7 for a latte, before any extras.
So by the time I add almond milk, an espresso shot, taxes, and tip, I'm at $10...
This caffeine addiction is officially draining my wallet.
How much do you pay for a coffee?
Something that I detest on this platform or social media in general is all the phonies putting out horrible financial advice
Everything you invest in comes down to price per unit
For stocks it’s Price to earnings
For homes it’s price per square foot
For LBOs it’s EV to EBITDA

Why would she pay off 0% interest rate debt…
That seems like a horrible financial decision
Particularly for someone with knowledge of finance and time value of money like yourself

Total Market $VTI
Nasdaq 100 $QQQ

Mostly, the best time to buy a stock is not when people are telling you to invest
If you read it in the news it’s likely too late
If you aren’t a full time stock analyst, and you aren’t okay with losing money on an investment, then I wouldn’t recommend investing in single
