One of the best bucks I've seen on the public land by my place tonight. It will be a damn shame if I can't find him again to get some much better pictures and videos. My god what a beautiful Public Land Buck!!

I can't tell you how much pressure I put on myself to be successful every year. The immense relief after having another bull down is insane. I have made this my life's passion to be the best I absolutely possibly can be at archery elk hunting. I will work even harder next year.

What an unbelievable morning! A few hundred elk came pouring out of a saddle above me. This was only the last half of them. The wind was miserable and oh so cold. I repositioned myself where the wind couldn't catch my lens and hunkered down to capture the majestic herd.

This girl broke my heart. Packed way in with just my camera equipment filming the mule deer rut and this girl walks up to me. I can't do anything for her. Truly ruined my day. Fish and game was contacted and I haven't been able to relocate her. Nature isn't what most think it is

Lowered my expectations by quite a bit after seeing how low the deer population was in this unit. Man I hunted it hard. Last night I decided this guy was good enough. Shot him in his bed after stocking into 120 yrds. He was done instantly.

Buddy of mine shot his first mule deer buck yesterday. North Idaho guy that's always chased whitetails. So happy for him. We dropped him off at the taxidermist today and been doing a little day drinking to celebrate!
