@billbria I talked to Grace yesterday and it’s so weird seeing/hearing her in this and then seeing how she is IRL

@ProjectPaladin Probably! I haven’t really dug into his filmography all that much outside of the more notable ones

@ProjectPaladin The score landscape is pretty interesting, I think a lot of mainstream ones can get a bit homogenous & you don’t really have as many big name composers making great scores for schlock movies (like Goldsmith or Morricone), but there’s still a lot of good ones, just gotta dig more

@ProjectPaladin I watched flesh + blood a couple months ago and it made me wish we got a lot more medieval/fantasy scores from him, he was so good at it

This type of stuff is so frustrating because it’s already so hard to get screeners for certain films, especially if you’re indie/not repping a big publication. Just selfish because you can’t wait a little bit or want some immediate cred
There's really no justification for sharing rips from virtual Sundance screenings on social media. There is literally only one possible outcome from you doing so, and it is an outcome that decreases the possibility of Sundance access for everyone, except those who can afford to go in person, in future years. And you can't even try to justify it to yourself with an "I'm sticking it to the big corporation by pirating" argument. These are Sundance movies. They're mostly low-budget indie fare, not big budget assembly line productions from Disney. You're mostly just disrespecting people who quit their day jobs and maxxed out credit cards because they cared about making a movie.

@WoSoundtracks Oh nice! Any pieces of his that have particularly stood out over those last weeks?

@BrooksEvan39138 From film, maybe Helen’s theme from Candyman. In general, I’d say Koyaanisqaatsi as a whole
