Quite literally the first advice my dad gave me when I became a father:
“Your wife will have endured such pain as you will never know, to give you such a gift as you yourself could never have. Show gratitude; change every diaper you can.”
Dad was right. Dad knew best.
If a man is ever changing diapers, there is something seriously wrong with the relationship or with the order of the home. It is a sign the family has much bigger problems.

When at the Reformation the Protestants threw out all the “priestcraft” of the Papists; they also ceded the “secular” to the demonic. Thus, witchcraft, alchemy, etc., had no hindrance in the modern world.

Two years ago today, I was ordained into the Office of Holy Ministry. Holding the hands of the dying, celebrating baptisms and new life—ministry is beyond incredible.
And I’ll never forget the day it started. My hands shook through the whole Service of the Sacrament.

We had an ultrasound yesterday. Baby had no heartbeat or movement. We're at the hospital now for delivery.
We take comfort knowing Baby heard God's Word in the womb. God willing, we'll meet them in the New Creation.
But it hurts. Pray for us.
