Don't think voting matters or that the Supreme Court is important? Roe vs. Wade was overturned because of the justices appointed by 3 presidents going back to 1991. Your vote lives after you.
@notcapnamerica
Note to Republicans: The filibuster has been abused throughout its history. It’s gotten worse over the last 20 years. Want to filibuster? Then go back to holding the floor and talking.
@KeneAkers
Some folks ask, "Why don't we have White History Month?".
I answer. We do. Every month. It's called "History". The "White" is silent.

I never thought I’d see the phrases “Rot in hell” and “Merry Christmas” in the same message. That says a whole lot about his sanity. Methinks he needs to see a shrink straight away!

Uhh. I can guarantee that you're not gonna fly a commercial aircraft without flying hours, testing, a lot of training, and more testing. They do NOT have differing standards.

Let any man now claim for the Negro, or worse still, let the Negro now claim for himself, any right, privilege or immunity which has hitherto been denied him by law or custom, and he will at once open a fountain of bitterness, and call forth overwhelming wrath. - F. Douglass 1883
@nhannahjones
What we are seeing now is worse than the past. Historically, Black people helping Black people was not challenged. So, we are being stripped of all access to opportunity. And, while DEI hate is rising, nobody seems to have a problem with "NOL" -- nepotism, old boy network, legacy

Yeah, and he says his name is “Nathaniel Higgers”, aka “Nate Higgers”. I don’t think that’s his real name. Think about it.

I guess he forgot about:
Segregation
Voting Restrictions
Economic Discrimination
Educational Inequality
Legal Discrimination
Social Discrimination
Violence and Intimidation
Cultural Discrimination
Political Disenfranchisement

Slavery was continued even after the US Civil War through the "criminalization of blackness" and creation of the convict leasing system, which continued for decades. So, the notion that this is "ancient" history is a lie.

VPs don’t have “accomplishments”. Their job is to break ties in the Senate and act as a spokesperson for the President’s agenda. They are not independent actors. I mean, what did Pence accomplish???

Brown vs. Board - 1954
Civil Rights Act - 1964
Voting Rights Act - 1965
Fair Housing Act - 1968
These advances didn't end racism.
They made the racists work "harder".

65 not old? Tell that to my knees. For anyone born after 1962, full SS eligibility is 67, not 65. If Republicans try to run on this, they will find out why SS and Medicare are the "third rail" in politics.

Trump - 2 minutes of lies, half-truths, and misleading "non"-answers to questions.
Bash and Tapper - "Mr. President, you have 1 minute to respond."
Biden - "??????"
That's not a debate.

I find it ironic that Charlie Kirk (he's qualified for what??) is saying this. The problem is that this whole idea about Black pilots cannot be proved or disproved. "Hey, the Black guy did it". There hasn't been a fatal US crash since 2009. Planes aren't just falling out the sky.

Kenny, you seem to get under a few folks' skin. I guess it's true what they say about a "hit dog", huh. Of course, they could just ignore you, but they can't help themselves -- or they're just trolls and haters.

Yep. No more easy filibusters. Also, get rid of two track. The old filibuster took commitment. And bad filibusters risked losing the argument and possibly losing your next election.

We're the only western country that still executes criminals.

Another take on this:
Criminality by Black people is criticized as "criminal Black culture".
Criminality by white people is due to mental illness of individuals (think mass shootings).
It's a continual "game" of gaslighting.

I attended middle and high school in Charlotte, NC from 1973 - 1976, when busing was first started to achieve desegregation. After busing was abandoned in around 2000, schools resegregated largely due to persistent housing segregation.
