Our loss, Notting Hill’s gain 😉 @HackedOffHugh.
It is the 60th birthday of Hugh Grant, one of the best actors Britain has ever produced, for my money. He was rather diverted into his profession after failing to find funding for a PhD in History of Art at the Courtauld. Many happy returns!

Pieter Bruegel the Elder’s “Landscape with the Flight into Egypt” 1563, depicts the biblical story of the Virgin Mary, Joseph and their infant son Jesus on their way to Egypt to flee persecution. The broad valley and dramatic peaks represent the long and arduous journey ahead.
