@19_outside @Pirates I agree there seems to be no coherent plan to improve the Buccos roster. Money is there to do so. Been under spending for years on roster. Told when the time was right, money would be spent. That time is NOW!

@jayseehaitch @MLB @Pittsburgh You must remember when John Galbreath was owner he didn't have to deal with free agency until end of his tenure & it wasn't crazy like it is now. Did sign Dave Parker to a big 5-yr deal in '79. Both income streams & salaries now dwarf anything John W. saw. But Nutting is cheap.

@jayseehaitch @Pirates I have been hopeful all along that things would change & that they might make moves to help the Bucs be a winning team. But they (Ben Cherrington, Travis Williams & Bob Nutting) have continued to say that they are committed to winning, but their actions speak louder than words.

Catch is a drill, not a "warm up." The teams that play better catch are often the teams that play cleaner baseball. Stop rushing through it. Have a purpose. Those that get "bored" during catch are those that don't understand the importance of it and aren't mentally engaged during it. Play catch with a purpose!
