A notice of my beliefs:
I believe that adult animals have the capacity to consent
I believe that animals are our equals
I believe that sex is not inherently bad
I believe that love will conquer hate
I believe in the rights of all to express themselves freely
You know, I've been thinking about something for a long time and I can't hold it in anymore, so I'm just gonna say it.
Dogs are so fucking attractive, like omg, just look at them, they're gorgeous, and I love them, and they're fluffy, and their paws smell like corn chips, and...
Get on that Zeta Male grindset.
•appreciate animals
•pet animals
•give agency to animals
•make cookie and red rocket jokes
•place stickers
•flip anti art around
•be cool
If I wasn't supposed to kiss dogs, whatever deity/deities exist(s) shouldn't have made them the best kissers on Earth ON TOP of being so damn attractive
Just a friendly reminder to zoos out there that zoosexuality is perfectly valid, and that nothing is wrong with you. Don't let antis put you down over it. Accepting yourself can be a long, tough road, believe me, I know, but it's possible to to get there.
@AkitoTheZoo
and I are working on a new project that we're excited to share with you. We're going to be starting a new, more casual zoo podcast. Think more so just a couple of friends talking to eachother as compared to the more structured format of ZooTT. Follow us at
@ZooAndMe
Being a bi non-exclusive zoo is so fucking cool! I get to fawn over ANY gender, and they can be human OR non-human! Like, so much of the world is beautiful and attractive to me, and its amazing.
You know, sometimes I wonder how many zoos I've unknowingly met. Just going down the street or in an online game, etc. Maybe a lot, maybe only a few, but in all likelihood, I have met some.
Many people have asked me why I'm attracted to non-human animals. Well I have an answer for you. Same reason anyone's attracted to anything. Just kinda came out that way and there's nothing anyone can do to to stop it, nor anyway to make me ashamed for being who I am!
Can I just express how much I love this community real quick? The people I've met, the joy and love I've found, and the progress made. I'm so proud of us and so grateful to all of you who contribute to the community. My life wouldn't even be half as good as it is without you.
It was around this time last year that I first discovered the zoo community. I've come a long way in one year. I've gone from lurking in zoo spaces, trying to learn how to accept myself to being a proud, active member. Here's to 1 year and many more to come!
You know, it's weird leading the double life of a zoo. Like, to everyone around me irl, I'm just a stranger, a coworker, a family member, ect. Not a single one knows that I make a podcast nor even that I'm a furry.
Dear zoos, when under attack, remember that the block button exists, and so does the report button. You are under no obligation to engage with people who attack you. Just block them, and if you feel they've broken Twitter's rules, report them.
A friend of mine just sent me these 2 advice animal style memes. Yeah, remember when memes weren't abstract? Because I barely do. Anyway, I love these so much and want to share them with you all.
Sexuality announcement. Been finding myself being more bi over the past few months as well as not as zooexclusive. Non-humans still win out overall, but 2 leggers have more appeal now. Just felt like sharing this new thing I've found myself with.
Nothing like playing online games on an openly zoo account and having no one give a single shit, even if they can see my pfp. Now, what's the likelihood they even recognize the flag in my pfp? No idea, but I like to think I'm just passively advocating by being in these games.
Had an idea for a zooey skit. An anti-zoo furry travels back in time to warn early furries about zoos and try to ensure that zoos never get into the community only to find that the early furries are zoos and zoo allies. I feel like there's a lot of opportunity for comedy there.
Holy shit, it's actually happened. 4 digit follower count. I just want to take a moment to thank everyone who's helped me reach this point. My followers, my friends, the antis who keep giving me free advertising, and everyone else that's given me the opportunity to be heard.
There's a feedback effect where, as zoos get more vocal, we get more able to be vocal safely.
As in, when zoosexuality is already a discussed topic, one you might just run into, it's more natural to bring it up without having to reveal that you are a zoo.
I believe that steps should be taken to eliminate or atleast alleviate the suffering of others
I believe that those with should help those without
I believe that education and healthcare should be equally available to everyone for free as rights
Most of all, I believe in us
Happy Pride Month, folks! Let your flags wave high! Look to your love, them them what they mean to you. Look to your friends, tell them how much you care about them. Look to yourself and see that you deserve love and the same rights as everyone else.
This isn't zoo related, but there's a very concerning bill being put forward in West Virginia. It's an amendment to the state's obscenity law which effectively makes it illegally for children to be exposed to trans people in any way. I worry about this nation's future.
Hello, antis who may or may not be looking at my page under the pretense of seeing just how "immoral" or "degenerate" I am, when really it's because you're closeted and can't help but look for people like yourself, we'll be ready to welcome you when you finally accept yourself.
Was just thinking about the people who claim LGBTQ+ people stole the rainbow from God and how that actually sounds metal as fuck. Our power is so fucking great that God himself is powerless to stop us.
@hereforthezoo
Honestly, my favorite part of that meme is that it isn't historically or geographically accurate. In the background there's a Roman Imperial Legionary when the bronze bull story takes place in ancient Greece
@animalboysister
God, you've brought so many antis through this. My block list is growing rapidly. It's also still funny how many are still taking the bait so readily.
Oh boy, the antis started noticing me again! How many followers will I gain this time? It's always fun watching as their outrage and hate just result in free advertising. So keep screaming about me, antis! Keep up your middle-school level insults!
And so EF ended, I met many wonderful people, found some new allies, put up a sticker or 2 and for the first time I got to be nothing except my truest and most authentic self.
I return home grateful that I was able to make the trip and saddened to put back on the mask and-
Just gonna pop this back up here. Stand against bigotry and those who'd seek to take away the rights of our trans friends and family. Should they succeed they'll only seek to take away the rights of even more groups. Resist and bite.
Indeed, transphobia is something that we should work to overcom in the community. Trans people are valid. If someone is transphobic, I encourage them to take a good look at themselves and become more educated about trans people.
Anyone else have to occasionally remind themselves that the word "zoo" also refers to zoological parks? Like, they really gotta come up with a different word for those.
I've seen this mentioned before by someone, but I recently saw just how true it is. Antis use more variations of our pride flag than we do. They'll have an entire fucking list of Zoo flags and I will have seen only 2 or 3 of them, with one 2 being actively used by the community.
I want to talk about something that matters a lot to me. As many of you know, I once dealt with a lot self hatred and only really got past is just over a year ago. Well, seeing as it's Pride Month and I've seen some other zoos struggling the way I did, I decided to (1/10)
I have proof that
@hereforthezoo
is immortal. This is a picture of First Lady Grace Coolidge, wife of President Calvin Coolidge. Notice who's with her?
Feeling really good and like myself today, so I just wanna share the good feelings and tell everyone that angry idiots online don't know you and their words mean nothing. You are loved and even though the world is really scary right now, we can make it better again!
This zoo pride week, I'd like to devote a short thread to the most important person in my life, my girl. Her happiness is the most important thing to me. My most cherished memories are of the time I've spent with her. She's my first and only love.
I know I just posted a really hot take on dogs the other day, but I've got another one.
Horses are also pretty cool, and also pretty.
Stay tuned for potentially even more revolutionary hot takes.
Even now that pride month and zoo pride week are over, remember to never stop having pride. Those aren't the only times you're allowed to have pride, they're just times to celebrate it. Bigots don't own the rest of the year, so make sure you don't give them any of it!
