Whether prosecuting a democrat, or a republican, or a Whig, if anything leaks, either the head prosecutor needs to identify and prosecute the leaker, or be disbarred. Leaks should be easy to trace.

I’m going to stick with history here, and try not to get into a spitting match. But there were about 4M slaves, costing $800 to $1200 each. Let’s say $3.2 Billion conservatively. That would be 40 years of the full federal budget, which at the time was $60M to $80M per year.
