As a big fan this is great news! A new John Irving Queen Esther coming from @simonschuster in November 2025. It’s a way off but gives me a chance to re-read the wonderful Cider House Rules
John Irving will bring back the character of Wilbur Larch, first introduced in his 1985 novel THE CIDER HOUSE RULES, in a new book coming later this year. Simon & Schuster will publish Irving’s QUEEN ESTHER in November. @simonschuster
