So it’s been over 5yrs since I saw my youngest Son! Nearly 5yrs since I even spoke to him. I’ve never met his partner, or their son (my Grandson) ever! Yet, they’ll all be at ours here in the Ardèche in 2 days time! Remember that feeling as a kid before Xmas? Well, that’s me! ❤️

10yrs married today! Ours was a wedding of two parts in two different countries. Today is that of France 🇫🇷, in front of the Mayor at the Mairie. Next month we celebrate also 10yrs of our wedding at the Cathedral in Bitonto Italy 🇮🇹. We’ll be in Bitonto for that one! ❤️

I had a visit from some diesel fairies 🧚 last night in the early hours. However, I was parked in clear view of a busy road for night trunking between Lyon and Paris. Fellow truck drivers alerted me by beeping horns, and I was able to see them off with a baseball bat. 👍

On a farm near Lille 🇫🇷 for the night, beautiful little place. Into Lille later to see my daughter Clémence who is a student 👩🎓 there. I’m a bit nervous as this will be only the 4th time I’ve seen her since she was 8 months old. Looking forward to it at the same time though.

Have reserved Minou, can’t take him today because he’s gone down with a cold and they’re keeping an eye on him for a week. He’s 4yrs old, previous owner was elderly and went into an EHPAD, their family abandoned him in the street. Once he’s over his cold he’s got a new home. 🐈👍

That’s my eldest Son, a Police 👮♀️ Officer in the UK 🇬🇧 of 13yrs standing! That was the G7 in Cornwall a few years back, with President Biden’s car. But this week he contacted to me to say Dad, I’ve been promoted to the rank of Inspector! Very proud dad! 👍❤️

That was quite a long week that, left here Monday morning at 5am and back now. 2600kms completed, moving goods around France for Carrefour, Intermarché, Lidl, Aldi, Leclerc and Casino 🇫🇷! But now, I hear the call of the apéro at home! 😉🍷

This is a small Total garage near Orléans but not on the motorway. Uncomfortable nights sleep with the heat, however in there for €2 the shower 🚿 was immaculately clean. Followed by a grand crème ☕️, croissant 🥐 and an orange 🍊 juice I almost feel human again! Bonne journée!

I’ve been coming to Italy 🇮🇹 probably around 46yrs now. First with my Dad in his Truck, and later as a lorry driver myself. Never knew back then I’d marry an Italian though! That’s me before the Charles Atlas course, loading melons 🍉 in Emilia Romagna region around 1980.
