Today in #Jasper, I witnessed the remarkable resilience of this community as it rebuilds after wildfires. With over $160M in new investments—from interim & permanent housing to enhanced wildfire response—the federal government is here for you, today and for the long haul.

The ceasefire in the Middle East presents a critical opportunity for the international community to focus on rebuilding Gaza and advancing a lasting two-state solution—one where Israelis and Palestinians can live securely, side by side, in peace and prosperity. The war between Israel and Hamas has inflicted devastating suffering on innocent civilians. The path forward MUST prioritize a just and enduring peace that upholds Palestinans’ rights to self-determination.  Hamas has no place in the future governance of Gaza. We stand strongly in support of the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and strongly oppose any forced displacement from their land.

Today, I hosted a roundtable with #Manitoba business leaders at @PrairiesCanEN’s #Winnipeg office to discuss potential U.S. tariff impacts.
