@micsolana China only has four times as many people and spends $700 million in government funding on the Olympics. Unfair to criticize them.

@vanguard_pod This makes literally no sense. You must get all of the analogy questions wrong on intelligence tests.

@eyeslasho They are just healthy. If you take any population and make it healthy the number of attractive people goes up. Attractiveness is mostly based on the average of the positively associated people of a given gender in society.

@bosdan @micsolana China doesn't send people who are not likely to medal because they have to pay all of their athletes. 4x more people are funneled into fewer delegates. The United States government doesn't involve themselves in the Olympics.

@Ruminations01 @micsolana As far as the Olympics goes I think it's the opposite. If we paid a lot more for the Olympics and strategized we would win more medals.

@GoofyWise I don't think the problem is normalizing fascist leaders as much as recognizing them in your case.

@PicoPaco17 I think it was the category about refusing to rape that got him in trouble. Some women probably took that personally.

@eyeslasho @mcuban Not to completely discount IQ, but two big factors in earning are age and employment history. The median age for white people is 44 but only 35 for black people. The most common age for white people is 58 but only 27 for black people. Likewise, being unemployed early in your

@michaelshermer It's not that complicated. For religious reasons they believe fetuses have a soul and you are committing murder when you kill them. It's not more complicated than that.

@eyeslasho The administration didn't outperform anything. They just happened to be in office during the time.

@PicoPaco17 Probably has to do with urbanicity. If you think about this biologically, if you see a lot of other people around the natural reaction is that there aren't enough resources for everyone. This is probably a billion-year-old trait. People who live in the country don't see a lot.

@BillyM2k Nobody's dying of old age at 35 back then. They're just dying of cold exposure and lions.

@eyeslasho I don't doubt that these are accurate, but most success outside a few professions is grit and not IQ. Nutrition and early cognitive environment also have a small but meaningful influence on adult IQ. Also, there are cultural reasons for disparate success layered on top of the IQ.

@eyeslasho We are separate people though. Why would we have to pick the same narrative? Makes no sense.

@jeffskoll @elonmusk @lindayaX I would imagine it's far more fun for a conservative who gets to say things and far less fun for a leftist who no longer gets to control the narrative.

@eyeslasho Whenever we invite immigrants over without a strict filter we are essentially saying we want to be more like country X. The country is a little more than the sum of its people.

@HamasAtrocities Actually, everywhere these things have spread have been extremely successful. Whereas as soon as Islam took over Byzantium, Persia and North Africa, which were previously the most advanced regions in the world, it quickly declined. The only decent Islamic places to live are the.

@PicoPaco17 @ryanharkness_ He did go from a pure libertarian non aggression principle guy who was against spanking to a guy who was really deep into black crime being genetic and eugenics. It was an odd story arc.

@eyeslasho Question for fellow Muslims: . As a Muslim my wife has been very arrogant lately. According to Quranic teachings my first step is to stop sleeping with her. I did that but she's still being arrogant. The next step is to strike her. But I'm a little concerned because she's only 9.

Doesn't leave a lot of room for systemic racism and white supremacy, does it?.
Another example of how persistent past inequality is in the long run:.π¬π§UK families have generally stayed in the same place as they were when given surnames- in the 1100s. (Or why people with the last name Offer are more likely to be richer than a Blakely)

@eyeslasho This issue is very attractive to Marxists who despise anything strong, attractive or successful and elevate anything weak, ugly or failing. Most Marxists are women or effeminate men these days.

@eyeslasho In my view it's a very good thing when black people are portrayed as upstanding citizens. There is a dearth of role models in the black community and entertainment industry does everyone a service with positive black portrayals.
