📜 Dropping Bills in the Hopper! 🎉 Today’s the bill drop deadline, which means I officially dropped all my bills in the hopper! But what does that actually mean? In Annapolis, when a legislator introduces a bill, we drop it in the hopper—a fancy way of saying we file it with the House or Senate clerk. It then gets a bill number, is stamped for approval and printed. From there, it begins its journey through the legislative process! You’ll be able to see my bills and bills I’ve co-sponsored here:
