When I look at het couples I've ever seen in my life most of them are like this. The woman is pretty, attentive but the man is messy, doesn't care about his clothes & appearance. So women don't really have standards, they can accept the man in every way. I cannot see the opposite

The male suicide rate is also higher because men use more brutal methods so they are more likely to succeed. + murder suicides are also counted for in male suicide statistics. I'd be more interested in studies that show suicide attempts, although not all would be documented.
