The world is full of people just coping with different shit everywhere all at once - whether it's war, a break-up, miscarriage, poverty, grief, childhood trauma, adulthood trauma, etc. It's all happening all at once.
As a clarification: This shit is not that deep. I was doing self-reflection. Don't be in my quote tweets summoning H*teps R'Us, God, and whomever TF else. I. Do. Not. Care. Lmao
Let me plug myself: I'm single. If you got a rich uncle that's kinda fine (will settle for cute if you squint, but got a nice body) with 1 or less chirren between the ages of 32-40, tell him HMU.

Right. And it's only unidirectional - cheating by the man is okay; cheating by the woman is somehow remarkably different and worse (let them tell it).

My younger sisters (twins) were 7 or 8 when they saw our daddy's license. They were like, "Ooooo, Daddy! Your license has a bad word on it! S-E-X! And it has a M under it!!!"
Daddy was like, "And what that mean?"
One of them said, "Musty! Bc when you have sex, you get musty!"

This funny AF, but I must admit - KFC overseas is waaaayyyy different than the states. It's like the difference between Popeye's in Louisiana vs everywhere else.
I'm broke AF, but happy! LoL. Thank you to all that have congratulated me & sent positive words!!!!!
For those that are interested, here's how I paid them off:
3. I aimed to finish paying off my student loans within 6 years.
I will say this now, though - submit the forms for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) & determine if you're eligible BEFORE aggressively paying on your loans. It could save you hella money in the end.
I have a theory that if COVID was more visibly disfiguring (like leprosy) or had more grotesque presenting effects (like ebola), vaccine hesitancy would be significantly less than it is now.
Okay, I'm done. Whether it takes you 3 years, 30 years, or even if you just choose make a monthly donation until you die - I wish you the best! My DMs are open if you have a specific question, but I strongly recommend research and/or a financial advisor if available to you!

Not bad! Cut your cooking time down from 30 minutes to about 15 for the oven. Pan searing goes even faster. You can sprinkle brown sugar on top for an easy glaze.
7. Having a job that paid well WAS NOT LUCK. I took a job in a rural area, so it automatically paid more than the same job in a more metropolitan area.
Being in a rural area also causes you to spend less money & pay less in rent/utilities.
@LooseAsADEUCE
I'm not even worried about them lifting a finger if it was the other way around. I am, however, confused as to why all the men with jokes got all love & laughs but *I* supposedly have some deeper, hidden hatred in my joke. Lmao

I actually enjoy the disconnect. It showcases the subtle distinct style between the two, and it adds to the uniqueness of the choreography. Some choreo may require being tightly synced with crisp transitions, but this was great as is. Dope work!
8. The shit you really don't want to hear:
I started paying on my student loans before the start date.
Every tax refund and bonus check I received thereafter went to paying off a loan.
2. For me, it was about PRIORITIZING, PERSEVERANCE, and PATIENCE.
I defined financial freedom before I even graduated from pharmacy school as being completely debt free. Financial freedom differs for everybody, but this was my definition.
1. Paying student loans off ain't for everybody. Multiple factors go into whether you could or should pay your loans off, including current job vs amount of loans owed, family status, etc...
It was definitely a delay of gratification, but it was worth it FOR ME.
If you have to, keep ONE credit card w/a low limit. Minimize your debt as much as possible.
Save at least 10% of each check.
Learn how to INVEST! Stocks, bonds, whatever. Learn that shit.
9. I was on a pretty strict budget. Didn't eat out a whole lot. Had to cut my shopping habit. It was all a fucking sacrifice.
Because I set a long-term goal of 6 years, I knew how much I needed to pay per month to reach that goal (albeit, I got side-tracked).
Black people have a tormented history with the medical field and medical advancements. Tuskegee, the origins of gynecology, Henrietta Lacks, etc... We have a right to be cautious of new medical advancements.
However...
Will & Jada's Red Table Talk had a lotta gems in it. BUUUUTTTTT...... You gotta keep in mind that it's a whole lot muthafuckin easier to wait to talk when you're calm when the bills are paid & finances aren't an issue.
Finances are one of the leading causes of divorce.

Listen Ma... I get it. However, when you go to a restaurant, do you need a lecture on how that money could've been used to help world hunger instead?? No. You go to eat.
I get on Twitter to laugh at shit. Not cure the world's ills single-handedly. Be blessed.
Trying to think of other things I did, but that's basically it.
Make sure you know how
- to calculate interest rate so you can anticipate how much interest you will pay over time
- to deduct student loan interest on your taxes (if you make over 80K/yr, you're not eligible)
(For yall that aren't willing to sacrifice having a social life - which is totally understandable - at least get a roommate or stay with family if possible. Whatever it takes to reduce living expenses)
