If u r a mildly serious cyclist (prob being a runner is similar) & u ride w/someone stronger, u find that all they need to put a gap between u is to ride *slightly* faster than u. They don't need to crush u to gain a gap, just set a pace you can't match. See: Sinner vs Griekspoor
