Just devastated that my dear friend Tony Slattery has died. He was hugely talented,immensely kind &we shared so many wonderful times. When I had my own troubles Tony got a message to me in hospital-when he was struggling himself-“the world is a better place with you still in it”.

John would drive to our Mum&Dad’s shop in Bebington with Paul Mac on mopeds from Uncle Jim’s in Heswall. They’d take it in turns to go into the shop from Betty’s kitchen & serve slightly bewildered locals . I still have dreams about him-to me he was like Paul’s other brother 💕.
