You just mention that everyone will be priced out of Rollups without giving any evidence.
Rollups essentially increase block space by orders of magnitude. The only way people could be priced is if Ethereum is doing 100,000 transactions per second and it’s still not enough.

Why ETH will flip BTC post merge:
1. No more massive POW rewards
2. EIP-1559 ETH burning
3. Staking APY will increase because tx fees will go to stakers instead of miners. Therefore, more ETH will get locked up in staking
4. Stakers can't withdraw their ETH until the next fork

Today, every node in the network needs to process every transaction. In order to scale the network we can either change it so that every node processes only a small percentage of transactions (sharding) or require that all nodes are super powerful (which leads to centralization).
