@ee_schenberg @ACSPublications MEAI has shown an inhibitory activity with several serotonergic receptors (5-HT1A, 5-HT2A, and 5-HT2B). No agonistic effects towards 5-HT2A receptors. I have no information about the subjective experience in humans.

@ee_schenberg @ACSPublications Its similarity to serotonin and other available psychedelics. It also modulates some of the HT receptors.

I don’t know if it’s me turning 50 and becoming more emotional (or just feeling the urge to say THANK YOU), but I needed to say a few words as a week has passed since I returned from the 34th annual meeting of the ICRS (#ICRS2024) in Salamanca, Spain. As I reflect on this incredible experience, I am filled with gratitude for the many people who made it special. First and foremost, I want to thank my lab members: @LiadHinden, @RadkaKocvarova, and @AsaadGammal. Your active participation and presentations showcased the groundbreaking science we are doing on #Cannabinoids. I am incredibly proud of each one of you. Keep up the excellent work! I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the #ICRS Executive Team. A special shout-out to @mem_kelly, who has led the ICRS society with professionalism, enthusiasm, and warmth over the past eight years. Best of luck to @StevenKinsey as you lead us into the next era of #CannabinoidResearch. Thank you, @zivacooper, for organizing an outstanding program and keeping us smiling and uplifted throughout the conference. @JuliánRomero, my dearest friend, you made Salamanca an unforgettable event. @JasonSchechter, thank you for managing the event and providing great music. And to @ShlomiAshkenazi and @RamiLaor from #EventMagix, thank you for ensuring everything ran smoothly and professionally. Last, but certainly not least, my deepest thanks to my AMAZING friends and colleagues. Since my very first ICRS meeting in 2005 (as a young PhD student), you have become my second family. Your continued support, hugs, laughter, good food and drinks, and genuine friendship mean the world to me. I cherish every moment we share, especially during these difficult times we are facing in Israel 🎗. Here's to many more years of collaboration and camaraderie. @GeorgeKunos , @KatarzynaStaro6, @LigrestiLab, @tony_jourdan1, @resatcinar, @MalligaIyer, @DoctorIGM, @CeceHillard, @raquelpeyraube, @scwhynot, @mqzspa, @JonathonCArnold, @DavidFinn14, @gunduzozge, @AronLichtman, @RuthARoss11, @DanielePiomelli, @canna_brain, @_mkostrzewa, @mariovdstelt, @StellaLab11,@ScienceSaoirse, and many many more...

Another great presentation by Asaad Gammal from our lab (#thetamlab) showcasing our novel BNS822 peripherally restricted CB1 blocker and its ability to mitigate obesity and its associated metabolic complications as well as delving into its downstream molecular mechanisms in the liver and adipose tissue. And all this fun fun fun happens at the #ICRS2024SALAMANCA conference.
