What fucks me up about this one is that it's not just Batman, it's the absolute safest, most obvious slam dunk Batman ever made. Like, BEWARE THE BATMAN was riskier than this. Every single part of this was tailor made for mass success and they STILL went "Nah, fuck that."

I think what gets me about this moment is that apart from showing a deep understanding of Cass, it also works as a show of respect by making it clear that the core traits of her character don't come from Batman or even from being Batgirl, but are channelled through them.
