Take steps to Prevent Sim-swap Fraud Enable Multi Factor Authentication Create a pin/password which must be provided to enable account changes or requests. Restrict who can view online profiles Never share personal info e.g. date of birth or answers to security questions

Be wary of calls claiming to be from BT & landline providers requesting personal details or payment for the upcoming digital switchover. The deadline has been extended to 2027. BT & landline providers will never ask you for payment for the upgrade. #ScamAware

💬 Are you familiar with delivery scams? If you’re shopping during the Boxing Day/January Sales be wary of texts or emails about a parcel that hasn’t arrived. It’s usually a scam - delivery companies won’t ask you to pay them through a link in an email or text. Be #ScamAware

The Trading Standards Service recently completed a weights and measures inspection at the Christmas Market to ensure Consumers get what they pay for when it comes to alcohol and goods sold by weight. We are pleased to report that all premises were found to be compliant.
