The reaction to the lack of chrome on the Haslab RID Optimus is fascinating. Personally I always disliked the chrome, it felt pointless, chrome for the sake of chrome, and didn't go with the rest of his aesthetic. Fine if you liked it but to me this is an upgrade.

Had to buy a retail version to confirm, but yes, my preproduction Protoform Starscream from the Derrick Wyatt collection IS a unique color, more beige than bronze and with less swirls. Some very minor paint changes on the head as well.
