Just remember when you vote ,there's been no #Austerity in the UK since the 1940s .Our macroeconomic problems stem from the failure of successive Govs to balance the budget! Vote for those who promise less ,tax less & interfere less #Austeritymyarse

This is the problem we face . Yes increased costs make us poorer ,but THEY DO NOT AFFECT INFLATION! . Inflation is the average of prices ,so if some prices go up ,others must go down , unless the CB adds or allows more money growth. @jbhearn

Inflation Alert! Just received an email from Thames Water. Our water bill will go up by over 40pc in April! The average rise across the UK will be 26pc, adding about 0.1 percent to CPI inflation. Another unhelpful addition to inflation, alongside energy prices, NI + min wage.

Britain spent half its treasury to free slaves. The loan we took out in 1834 do so (we had to pay the slave owners) we only paid back fully in 2014. We freed 800,000 slaves and even policed the seas to capture slave ships to free the slaves onboard. (1/2)
