advances to Grand Finals at Smash Summit 8! He's easily one of my favorite players to shoot in the Melee community. So much positive emotion.
I knew very little about TFT before this Summit, but this community is quickly becoming one of my favorites to work with. Here's a few of my favorite shots over the past couple of days.

2019 and esports teams are still stealing photos and creating social / web graphics without permission. Please, just start hiring on-staff photographers already. It IS worth the investment.
A few of my personal favorite photos from this weekend in Raleigh. Thanks again to
@ASTROGaming
and their crew for bringing me out. Had a great time being at a
@HCS
event for the first time in almost 5 years.
Yo esports, please start hiring competent photographers more often. Cell phone images like this should never see the light of day to promote an article.

One of my favorite things about shooting
@BeyondTheSummit
events is working with the lighting setups the creative video crew sets up for media day shoots. Today was no exception.
One of my biggest fears as a photographer is having a gear failure while at an event. For the first time in 12 years, it happened today. My newish MacBook Pro bricked out of nowhere. Wouldn’t charge or turn on on the final day of the Ludwig Smash event.
Only thing I’ll show from the new
@BeyondTheSummit
studio. A few photos from
@tempusrob
,
@andysandyphoto
and I hung up along the entrance from the BTS house days. Full studio reveal tomorrow on stream.
I started my esports journey around this time 10 years ago in the Call of Duty community. It's been a hand full of years since I've shot a CoD event, but it feels good to be back for

My dad, who would still use a Nokia brick phone if he could, asked me to join him in picking up his Tesla Model S today to help him better understand the technology in the car. 😂 Stoked for him though. He's worked his ass off for years. Good to see him splurge on himself finally

@missing_data
gave me a chance to join the BTS creative team and photograph their events. Nothing will ever replicate my experience working with them. They built something special in esports that's often copied, but never truly replicated.
For the past 3 years on my birthday I’ve started the day off with a long solo ride to kick off the mountain bike season on the local trails. There was a little more snow than usual at the top this year, but I still had a rad time.
Here’s to 32. 🍻
It was so good to be back at CEO for my first time since 2016. I want to thank
@Jebailey
and
@tischphotos
for having me join
@HelloItsLi
and
@tempusrob
on the photo team this year. Such a great group of people to work with. Thankful for the opportunity.
