My one hope, and it is probably only a hope, is that there are assets “we own” out there that due to the entity that owns or controls it, it s very difficult to auction drilling or mining rights as the buyer is concerned future govt will revoke. An entity set up specifically to do that with better protections might allow us to monetize things we currently have difficulty and that new money can pay off debts. Maybe similar idea for some national park type space where new sources of revenue currently difficult to create, are created. Maybe managing a lot of things under experienced business managers will create more/new money, which can also be used to reduce deficit pay down debt. Org structure could matter. In end they might just use taxpayer dollars to buy crypto :( but I have some hope for a useful use case.

@elonmusk do you have an estimate on the percentage of federal employees taking the buyout package? Will the number be public after the deadline?
