What if track was accessible to fans outside the hardcore? Maybe we jumped to putting it behind a flosports paywall too quickly? Maybe USATF should be trying to open accessibility and viewership ahead of giving raises to its CEO...

@Brandon_L_Davis Totally agree. I think track industry is its own worst enemy at the moment. I think you'd see some different thinking from football coaches if they let their athletes get exposed by track guys in the 40m as well.

Every recruit says they want a community/family/supportive team. I'd be interested to know how many still want that when they realize it means showing up for the team and not just having a fan club to cheer for you.
