@juliacmarchese When I first read "CHRISTINE" I wasn't familiar with many of the songs mentioned (especially '50s/'60s rock & roll) so it inspired me to find & hear them. Then when I saw the film I had to get the soundtrack lp so I could listen to all those classic tunes 🎶 📻

@DennisChristo4 You gave such a touching, heartfelt performance in this film, Dennis! EVERYONE was terrific in it, especially the child actors. I wish more people would discover this hidden gem. Fortunately, it is on YouTube in decent viewing quality :

@TheApolloTwin Are you still making your way through Peckinpah's filmography? Have you purchased the new Criterion 4k of "Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid"? Omg, it's amazing 🤩 The new edit is sooooo good! I'm a devout Dylan fan, so anything ALIAS is a "must have" for me ! 🤠 🔪 🐎 🚪

@juliacmarchese Did you know that the director of this classic film (ROBERT HARMON) began his career as a still photographer on movies? And one of his earliest gigs was still photographer on "FADE TO BLACK"? Yes, many of the photos I post were shot by BOB HARMON! Bet you didn't know that! 😉

@TheApolloTwin It seems you are working your way through Peckinpah's filmography. I'm interested in when you get to "PAT GARRETT AND BILLY THE KID". The 2005 re-edit improved some things (mainly Dylan's score) but screwed up in other ways (excising too much from the director's preview edit).

@NerdyChica That's really unfortunate, it is so close to you too. But as it's 6 months away, that gives you some time to prepare and perhaps find a way to overcome your anxiety? That convention sounds like something you would really enjoy.

@DennisChristo4 So tragic. I loved his work. Saw his live stand up show at Oakdale here in CT during the '90s. Hilarious. He did a TV movie in 1979 ("Diary Of A Young Comic") which co-starred #LindaKerridge before she was filmed "Fade To Black" in 1980 😢
