Just heard some very sad news about the passing of a long-time friend, fellow Saluki, husband, dad, and great superintendent of Pawnee CUSD 11, Tim Kratochvil. My thoughts and prayers are with the Kratochvil family, as well as the Pawnee learning community. So sad.

Good thread...and no remorse or acknowledgment by Illinois political and public health leaders about how, as more and more data was showing, what they were forcing schools to do was meaningless. Tore communities apart, as schools were stuck in the middle of it. Bothers me still.

Wayne Collmeyer, a retired former Waterloo school superintendent, died Friday afternoon following a long hospital stay related to a Dec. 22 mishap on the Waterloo Santa Float. Funeral arrangements are pending.
