the driver is the enemy
the driver is the enemy
the driver is the enemy
the bike-lane parker is the enemy
the pedestrian who thinks bike lanes are sidewalks is the enemy
@JazzyLynnRose
@JoeBiden
then why do Republicans fly the Confederate flag, and why do Republican candidates say slavery wasn't the cause of the civil war?
@panda_gongjunim
yeah people seem to have this idea that every woman really secretly wants to have 20 children but it's simply economic factors stopping them. it's insane.
@Pasghetti45
While they may not personally punch you in the face, and might even be nice, they will vote for the punch you in the face party, and I'm not gonna pretend that's okay
@ThunderWolf08
Probably Morocco-Spain. The Bering Strait tunnel would be pointless because there's no railroad even close to Wales AK and even at HSR speed the Continental US to populated areas of Russia would take an absurd amount of time.
Seven things wrong with this image:
1. A girl’s first kiss should be on her wedding day.
2. The girl is embarrassing the boy by kissing him in public.
3. The boy is playing football. Ball games are for little children.
4. The boy and girl go to the same school. Coeducation is
@TrueSlazac
Conservatives have always been unamerican they just adopted flag waving for a few decades. They hate freedom, they hate justice, and they hate democracy. None of that is new it's just that libs have developed a better understanding of it.
@SashoTodorov1
@xenocryptsite
Waterfront parks near downtown are a good thing. Downtown shouldn't just be buildings. Plus the loop has grant park right next to it and it's doing fine.
@sorkincel
yeah this is literally my grandparents. it's what I hate most about the pro-palestine movement, how they take this good cause and use it as an excuse to scream jew-hatred and thereby harm their cause.
@elizabeta_film
@blakeflayton
it's very easy. you see, I look at the Jewish state and I say hey! they are committing horrible crimes against another people! that's bad! it's super easy you should try it some time.
@AutumnUnbound
@LinkofSunshine
@Bot_1010101
you seem to misunderstand. his great grandparents weren't normal poles they were polish Jews. if they stayed, or if mine had stayed, they would have been sent to Auschwitz.
@arocheolmiae
no actually we haven't. it's not acceptable to use homophobic slurs against bad people. principles are what separate us from the fascists, and one of them is to not call people slurs.
@MIMagyarmaxxer
national socialism would actually be an excellent descriptor for this country. probably lots of welfare and socialistic policies but also the most racist and evil politicians you have ever seen.
@McKay4Senate
this is something I've been saying. they are very similar in modern day appearance just they have different origins and so different names.
@SamuelblamLewis
@trulyunknowable
not if you don't let it. by making this absurd claim that it's a symbol of hate you are submitting to the idea of Israel as a complete representation of the Jewish people. it doesn't have to be a symbol of the state of Israel unless you want it too.
@fatpieceofshit6
@vanillaopinions
the Republican party no longer exists outside of the person of Donald Trump. There is no way a living Trump fails to get nominated. It's not possible. There is no smoke filled room which can tire of him.
@JJ_McCullough
cannot understate the degree to which incumbency has become a severe disadvantage. the median voter has gotten it in their head that the incumbent must be responsible for all problems and removing them is the solution. this is particularly exacerbated on Palestine.
@Pasghetti45
I do talk to them, even if they are bad people. Talking to bad people isn't bad. However, no I would not be friends with a conservative, because they hate me and hate the idea that I should have rights.
@spargles
I once talked to this Cornish nationalist who was flying some weird Cornish riff on the apartheid south Africa flag. He justified this by saying he didn't care about other countries while his people (the Cornish) were still oppressed. funniest conversation I've ever had.
@north0fnorth
no I get it. sometimes we just have to admit that there is in fact one city better than Chicago in the country. it sucks but it's the truth.
@2urbaneric1
@north0fnorth
longer trains. the L has super short train cars, and that's because of sharp turns on the legacy elevated network. Both subways are built with this in mind, though only the Dearborn one can actually do it because of the curve at Sheridan heading into the state st. subway.
@fatpieceofshit6
@vanillaopinions
not among the Republican party though. We don't get to vote in Republican primaries and in those primaries he is the only person who has a snowflakes chance in hell of winning.
this thing that marxists do is the primary reason I am not one tbh. They refuse to consider anything other than material reasons, so when presented with something that happened for an ideological reason is presented, they make up a material reason.
This is Holocaust revisionism you illiterate baboon. The Nazis had a "starkly economic incentive for murder on a scale larger even than the Holocaust" due to food shortages. Slave labor replaced workers who had been called away to wage war on the Eastern Front.
@Pizzathots69420
@GABAGOOLMODER
every single one is American. this is how America works. American isn't a race or a culture it is a collective commitment to freedom and democracy. If that offends you, leave.
@Inhumansoflate1
the vast majority of libs will end up voting for Biden, and contributing to his (hopefully) electoral victory. what will you do that is different? I'm not asking you what you hypothetically might do, what will you do?
@gayblackvet
the various other pride flags that add new stripes defeat the entire message of the original one. the point of the original is that the rainbow is a spectrum in which we are all represented. adding more stripes defeats the purpose of this.
"My Grandfather liberated the camps. Couldn't believe what humans do to each other"
Look up a map. Every camp the Americans liberated were labour camps, only the soviets found death camps. The starvation and horror your grandfather saw were caused by allied blockade and bombing
@DNMNKB
@RM_Transit
The STL Metrolink is for the most part just like a normal rapid transit system but with light rail vehicles. There is no street running, and where it isn't grade separated it has signal priority and is treated like any other mainline rail crossing. So high floor makes sense.
@DimatMike
@nikicaga
dude I like Biden and he's def the most pro-labor within our lifetimes but I think FDR is the obvious choice for of all time. Be real.
@bork_fireforge
then she shouldn't have said it. you shouldn't just make wild claims and then say "I don't owe you an explanation of [wild and super important thing I just said]".
@StatisticUrban
2 reasons
#1
- the lake
#2
- there used to be a bunch of railyards and industrial sites right outside of downtown and they have yet to be redeveloped into much of anything.
@danido999
I think a lot of diaspora anti-zionists are trying to disconnect the two identities also. it's just that we are on the Jewish side, not the Israeli side, which probably makes the divide worse.
@rustbeltenjoyer
the Cleveland rail transit network has such crappy ridership that honestly it made me sad when I went there. just absolutely no one and nothing surrounding this perfectly decent transit system. the Metrolink is obviously better.
@ArchysLife
yeah I think this is the worst suggestion. The Hawai'i flag is iconic. Plus the flag he attaches currently acts as a symbol of the indigenous Hawaiians and it'd be weird to make it the flag of a state that is only 10% native Hawaiian
@2urbaneric1
@north0fnorth
they were originally debating having longer trains for the Milwaukee-Dearborn subway services, but they never have because it would mean an entirely separate train fleet for one line, hurting operational flexibility
@threepeaks74
@BrooksDSimpson
The entire cemetery is a monument to the victory of the Union against Lee. They stole his land and built on it a cemetery for those who died to stop him.
@StatisticUrban
The New England Town is such an interesting mode of municipal organization. I wish they existed everywhere, I think they would be such a powerful mode of organization for rural areas.
@JGrantGlover
I remember I first discovered Elk Grove village when I was looking on openrailwaymap because like every single one of those industrial buildings has a rail spur. it looks like a street grid but it's rail.
@ThisToxicX
@spargles
@FToast60
the difference is that he (correctly) does not think all evil is fascist. all fascists are evil, but not all evil people are fascists.

@rustbeltenjoyer
@weather_forkast
telling that the only person on this website who likes stainless steel trains is from the only city in the country without stainless steel trains.
@kaden53535
He's popular because his vetoes are overridden. Most Americans have no clue how government works, and so they decide how they vote based on whether things are good or not. And the democratic state legislature has made sure things are good.
