GA has played 4 games against playoff teams. In those games, its defense gives up an average of 13.5 points per game. Pretty damn good. How did the “top 5 defenses” do against playoff teams? Texas: 26 ppg Ohio State: 20 ppg Tennessee: 31 ppg Notre Dame: Never faced a playoff team Oregon: 34 ppg

@carson_tk Let’s hope nothing comes out of it. Regardless of how egregious anybody thinks the call was, can you imagine how bad it would be if the NCAA got SUED for every controversial call?

@CFB_Pat Problem with the rule is that it seeks to punish subjective intent (whether someone is headhunting) with objective visual indicators. Those indicators often occur without ANY fault to the defender, yet folks want em ejected.

@BGilmer18 Howard has been up and down all year. If he’s playing well, OSU is hard to beat. Full stop. On paper, Oregon had one of the best matchups possible against OSU’s o-line, and got home 0 times.

@CFB_Pat @HorsemenPod I was called “bigoted” and a “poor representation of my fanbase.” Don’t like ND? You’re a bigot.

People need to stop insinuating that the byes aren’t helping anybody. 2 of the 3 losses involved teams so mismatched that Vegas had 10+ point spreads. In 1 of those games, the team with the bye (ASU) significantly over performed. The remaining loser on a bye faced the hottest team in the playoffs.

RT @Craig_Lawson: Dan Lanning and Steve Sarkisian are coordinators cosplaying as head coaches at elite programs propped up by exorbitant NI…

If that’s the standard, I can get behind it. Nobody strike the head/neck area with the helmet. I just don’t understand how we don’t hold a ball carrier to the same standard. You see offensive players (particularly ball carriers) leading with their helmets and forcing similar contact regularly.

@3YearLetterman @CoachTrillBill Nah. TexAss is more like Mussolini. Trying super hard but rarely mentioned with the big boys.
