@adammarkowitzEA I live in salt lake. Can confirm it’s a city with plenty of businesses and a college (Weber state). I had job offers there out of college.

@BruceCarp7 If you've already applied I wouldn't cancel it. Takes so long for them to undo that and then for you to reapply it isn't worth the hassle

@BruceCarp7 Would probably wait until we hear further on switching. Plan on applying for another IDR plan like PAYE by this summer.

@JoeJackson2345 @olsonplanner @justindubinmd All IDR plans. If they are on SAVE they have used PSLF buyback to qualify.

@JoeJackson2345 @olsonplanner @justindubinmd Maybe. But I’m still seeing PSLF processed for my clients.

@CollegeInvestin I definitely know many of the student loan programs are backed by Congress and can’t just be eliminated by an EO. But I’d assume there are other aspects that could be modified.

@BruceCarp7 No, PSLF is backed by Congress. They can't just eliminate it by an EO. It would likely take 60 votes in congress to modify it. And even then, those already on track should be grandfathered in.
