THIS is why I’m now considered “dangerous” by the NH GOP. It’s not my platform that threatens, it’s my cross-aisle appeal. When I talk to old school Republicans, they very often like what they hear.

I’m excited to share that I will be making my WMUR debut on CloseUP with Adam Sexton tomorrow morning (Sunday, 9/29) at 10:00! Tune in for a discussion of the issues and to hear about my priorities as your next State Senator!
#nhpolitics
It’s a good day when you get to see Maggie Goodlander stump twice. She will represent us well—a real fighter for democracy! Go Navy! Go Maggie!!!
#nhpolitics
My campaign manager has been working so hard that his car died today. It’s no wonder—easily more than 1000 engine starts in the last couple of months of door knocking. We jumped it, drove to an auto parts store, replaced the battery, and he just kept on charging…
#nhpolitics
It was tough competing with Bingo, but I'm grateful to the staff and residents of the Merrimack Country Nursing Home for hosting me this morning. Kind, warm people all around.
#nhpolitics
Bringing in the heavy artillery for election support. Meet my old, dear friend Renee, a retired US Army Colonel. Between the two of us, it's nearly a half century of combined military experience knocking on your doors in Senate District 7. There's no better ally.
#nhpolitics
Anyone who has knocked doors knows the doorbell-dog connection. Ring the bell, get the bark. Some bark with wagging tails, hoping for cookies or pats. Some are more serious. Cats, though... they just do cat stuff. God love 'em.
#nhpolitics
You know your campaign is "rolling" when you've got the backing of the Teamsters. These guys make the world turn, so it means a lot to me to have their support. Thank you!
#nhpolitics
I’m so grateful to have the support of
@ChrisPappasNH
! Our districts may only overlap in Tilton, but our values and vision for both Tilton and NH are fully aligned. He will be a vital partner in the coming term, and he has my full support in his re-election effort!
#nhpolitics
Thank you, Ginger, for your generosity in showing me the new Easterseals military and veterans campus in Franklin. This place will be amazing, and I look forward to supporting it as your state senator!
#nhpolitics
Tough but rewarding day knocking in Franklin. I love it when invested, thoughtful voters expand my understanding—whatever their politics. My top message to Franklin voters: I want to bring you resources to revitalize your schools.
#nhpolitics
It’s always such an honor, and so much fun, to see my fellow Navy vet Maggie Goodlander
@MaggieG603
. I can’t wait to see the great work she’ll do as NH’s Representative in Washington. She’s got the legal and military chops to advocate hard for us all—and she will.
Time to light the afterburners on this SD7 campaign. The latest batch of signs is in--tell us you want one and we'll deliver it to your house (free, of course!). Send a note through our website:
Let's do this thing!!!
#nhpolitics
Maggie’s loyalty to the Constitution will make her a strong congresswoman and fierce advocate for her constituents. From one Navy vet to another, I’m proud to be supporting her in the race for Congressional District 2!
When you take the oath to serve in the Navy, you don’t take it as a Democrat, or a Republican.
You take that oath as an American.
I’ve spent my life on the front lines of the fights that unite us as Americans. In Congress, I’ll bring us together to create solutions that drive
How cool. While door knocking in Hillsborough I stumbled on this amazing, 100 year old giant wooden pipe that supplied water to a nearby power plant. A little duct tape might be in order, but it’s still working!
Bristol is such a nice NH town. That, and fall days like today make canvassing easy. No sweat, literally. My favorite quote of the day: "I'm tired of the pain." Politically speaking, of course.
#nhpolitics
A fine Department of the Navy family, if you ask me. Getting to know these two great Americans is a privilege and an honor. Go Navy and Semper Fi!

I am thrilled to have the endorsement of Merrimack County Sheriff David Croft! Sheriff Croft is one of New Hampshire's most dedicated public servants, working tirelessly to keep our communities safe. I will be one of his most enthusiastic supporters this November!
#NHPolitics
It was FUN to sit down with these great Americans at the New Hampshire Veterans Home. It's rare to encounter such warmth. I walked away smiling, and I do promise that if I am elected State Senator, I will do my best to improve food quality (including ice cream!!!).
#nhpolitics
We’re now in the final weeks of the campaign, and our race could come down to the wire. That means it’s time to get out the vote! If you would like to knock with us, please join us in Warner this Sunday, 10/20 at 12:00pm for a canvass kickoff!
#nhpolitics
Fun and supportive crowd at the Colby Hill Inn in Henniker tonight. Note the presence of Stephanie Payeur’s illustrious campaign manager (in orange). Thanks to the Mink Hills Dems for organizing!!!
#nhpolitics
Earlier this week, I sat down with Adam Sexton on WMUR-TV CloseUp to discuss some of the pressing issues facing New Hampshire, and my priorities as your next State Senator from District 7. Below is a link to the full segment!
#nhpolitics
I’m excited to share that my campaign has been endorsed by the International Association of Ironworkers Local 7! Ironworkers play a vital role in installing and maintaining our infrastructure, and I will be sure to fight for them in Concord.
#nhpolitics
Small town democracy is the best kind. Many thanks to my friends in Bristol for inviting me back to speak about the importance of the 2024 election. Let’s go!!!
#nhpolitics
I think I met our *one* district resident happy about the price of eggs. She was pretty moderate, though. Left wing on some issues, right wing on others. Okay in my book. 😉
#nhpolitics
Thank you to everyone at the Tilton Senior tonight. It was a great pleasure to hash through some of our state challenges and to meet all of you!
#nhpolitics
I'm thrilled to be endorsed by Merrimack County Sheriff David Croft! Sheriff Croft works tirelessly to keep our communities safe. I will be supporting him this November and look forward to working on behalf of all of our law enforcement officials as a State Senator!
We’ve had unions for well over a century. We have them to thank for weekends and the forty hour work week. You might call them as American as apple pie. It was a great Labor Day with my future colleagues. Thank you, AFL-CIO.
#nhpolitics
Greetings! We will be hosting our first fundraiser on Sunday, 8/11! If you or anyone you know can attend, you may RSVP by contributing through the ActBlue QR code, or by sending us a form through our website if you'd prefer to write a check. The deadline to RSVP is Thursday, 8/8.
This afternoon at 2:00pm, I will be participating in a candidate forum at the Webster Town Hall alongside candidates from Executive Council District 2, State House Merrimack Districts 5 and Florerial 26, and Merrimack County Sheriff! I hope to see you there!
#nhpolitics
As our campaign ramps up in the final weeks before Election Day, we are looking for volunteers to get out the vote! If you would like to help, please sign up at the link here.
What's better than one endorsement today? Two endorsements! My campaign has just been endorsed by AFT-NH! Teachers help to shape our children into good citizens and complex thinkers. Let's help them, not attack them.
#NHpolitics
While fawning over pies at Bristol’s Apple Fest this morning, I met Erin and Lisa, two extraordinary, caring school bus drivers who educated me on their professional challenges. Like teachers, they care a *lot* for our kids and we need to have their backs too.
#nhpolitics
Rounding out the 4th of July with one more parade in Grafton! It was a pleasure to talk to good citizens and voters from across the political spectrum, and learn about the issues that matter to them. We found a lot of common ground!
I will be participating in the NH Legislative Election Forum at New England College next Wednesday, October 16th at 6:00pm. Here, you will have a chance to directly share your most pressing concerns and ask questions about my platform. I hope to see you there!

A break in the action. Sometimes in narrated ads, the background "conversations" are just gibberish and fluff for appearances. In this case, my daughter blurted out that my face resembled a horse's rear end. The still photographer was ready for that moment, apparently.
Charlie, thank you for this thoughtful piece!
District 7 deserves leaders who will fight for property tax relief, reproductive freedom, and our logging industry. I will fight to keep the NH Senate focused on the issues and AWAY from partisan politics!
This tent rarely saw a break in the action yesterday, despite the rain. Amanda Swenson, who set up this beautiful rig along with Lorna, took advantage of a pause to snap this pic. We had a steady stream of happy, engaged voters. One thing is clear: we are gaining momentum.
Political violence can end a democracy. Let's do the hard things: purge extremists from our ranks, make friends with politically different people, avoid schadenfreude, and don't trust what we've been told about "them"--especially if it gratifies our worst instincts.
#nhpolitics
Last night, I attended a forum in Newbury alongside Democratic candidates for other offices. We answered questions on several topics, and I greatly appreciated the engagement and enthusiasm. Thank you to everyone who came, and to Steve Schultz for putting this event together!
Raw American naval power working its way into government... Meet Maggie Goodlander, NH's next Congresswoman, and Nancy Glynn, Campaign Director for Moms Rising and member of Sutton's Select Board. Both great Americans and, like me, squids. Godspeed, my friends, and... Go Navy!!
It’s as if you really did try to put me behind on thank you notes… and you nearly succeeded, I am beside myself with gratitude for your donations, some of which are repeats, others seemingly coming out of nowhere, and all of them with extraordinary generosity. You rock!!!
We spent yesterday afternoon campaigning at the Newbury Transfer Station! You can catch us again in Newbury this Saturday, 7/13 at Old Home Day. Please be sure to stop by our table to learn more about our campaign and tell us what’s on your mind this election cycle.
We've made a *lot* of progress but aren't quite there yet. Three easy things you can do right now:
1) Make a donation here:
2) Share this post with your own network.
3) Spread the good word.

I'm excited to share that I have recently been endorsed by VoteVets and NEA-New Hampshire! Our veterans and teachers both work tirelessly and selflessly to serve our communities, and as a Navy vet myself, you can count on me to fight for our public servants in Concord.
We need
@StuGreenForNH
in the NH Senate! Stu is exactly the right candidate to represent this district and is already putting in the hard work for his constituents.
#NHPolitics
As State Senator, I'll look for ways to revitalize the forest products industry and markets for low-grade timber. There are between 8k and 10k forest products jobs in NH--probably another 10k in recreation.

@nhtoa
If you want to know how we fall prey to cults, be they political, religious, or personality, Hoffer figured it out in 1954. Best read of my life. Short, dense, and highly relevant.
Where were you when it happened? A young Navy ensign in an E-2 squadron, I was sitting in the hangar’s operation room doing mundane administrative work. That day gave the following days more meaning. I can’t believe how much has happened since. Remembering the lives lost.
I was out door knocking in Newbury today. One of the kind residents insisted that I drive just a few hundred feet farther to see this. As my son keeps saying, "NH is pretty awesome!"
First day back for Andover’s teachers. When I talk to them, their biggest worry isn’t pay—though that’s an issue too—it’s cultural hostility and disinformation. Time to recognize the tough, increasingly thankless work our educators do on our behalf. Our future is in their hands.
Third time today I was surprised by new, overt, unsolicited displays of support—this time while on a neighborhood run. The movement is growing, and my heart is warm. Let’s do this thing!!!
I followed the Teamsters into the AFL-CIO breakfast this morning. Good looking truck and trailer!!! It was great to see my union friends, not to mention the Star-studded cast of speakers they’d lined up.
I'm excited to share that I'll be attending a meet-the-candidates house party in Franklin alongside other Democratic candidates this coming Friday, July 26th at 6:00pm! I look forward to speaking with District 7 voters and hearing their concerns, and hope to see all of you there!
I know people. Emmett Soldati is a good one and we need to help him get to the Executive Council. It was a privilege to attend Franklin’s National Night Out with Emmett this evening, and we both got an excellent education from this good city’s Fire and Police Chiefs.
Tomorrow is Primary Day! The power to shape the future of the Granite State lies with YOU, the people. Together, we can realize a vision that both brings our state forward and preserves the New Hampshire we know and love for our children. Please make a plan to vote!🗳️
Greetings, friends! If any of you are heading to BeaconFest at the Andover Town Green tomorrow (8/18), please stop by and say hello! I’ll be there from 11:00-12:30, and again after 3:00. I’m eager to hear what I can help you with if you send me to Concord!
Thanks to Ariel and Shackett’s Brewery for hosting today’s shindig in Bristol. It was great to catch up with Emmett. We learned a lot about our public educators’ battles! They need our support more than ever. As
@MclaughlinForNH
says, this is a national security issue.
Photo dump from some recent events! It was great attending the Newbury Old Home Day, the Hillsborough Summerfest Parade, and the Mascoma Forward Summer Kickoff! We also caught up with other candidates and fellow veterans, including a spry 97-year-old WWII vet!
I’m excited to share that our website is finally up! I know many of you have been asking, so thank you for your patience. If you would like to learn about my plan to restore moderation and common sense to Concord and/or donate, feel free to click below!
