Great day. Got a call from an old football teammate who connected me to his son, a lawyer in Massachusetts. What a nice way to renew old friendships.

An executive order that has turned the country upside down was issued by President Trump earlier today. The entire country is in upheaval over the content of this order. Why is the President trying to ruin the nation?

It is the Eagles vs. the Chiefs at the Super Bowl. The Chiefs are looking for 3 in a row - never been done before. This game should be as close as close can be.

Had lunch with former Representative Bill Hatch and his wife. Bill was a member of the legislature for a number of years and is a Vietnam veteran who served with distinction. Good to catch up and share old stories.

Our friend, librarian Michael York, and his wife Carol celebrated the wedding of their son Bradley today. Saw many of our friends from Goffstown at this wonderful event. Congratulations to Brad & Molli!

The costs for settling the atrocities that took place at the YDC/Sununu Center are escalating dramatically. How did this happen? Over the last 50 years these terrible things occurred. Who is responsible?

In Manchester, we will have a new Beech Street School and a new playground. This is a result of a vote by the Board of Aldermen to complete phase 1 of this project.

Great hearing today on the Right to Work legislation. Hundreds of union workers showed up to testify against the bill. The brotherhood was strong in spite of the freezing temperature. All were there until the end.

I am all in with Martin O'Malley for DNC Chair. He was mayor of Baltimore, Governor of Maryland, and is a good friend. He represents the working people of our country and will lead the Democrats to victory.

As we change administrations, wouldn't it be wonderful if we spoke about bringing people together and not casting disparaging remarks which have no legitimacy.

As we bring a new administration to the US, wouldn't it be wonderful if we spoke about national unity, progress for everyone, and a real spirit of togetherness. To cast disparaging remarks about an outgoing administration is not the way to do this.

A day to remember - a brief history of NH College, now Southern NH university. A memorial service was held for Edward Shapiro, the 3rd president of the college. I spent 17 years working with him and owe him a great deal.

A man who really gave me my start in college basketball coaching has passed away. Ed Shapiro, former President of NH College, took a chance making me a faculty member and head basketball coach. This was the opportunity I needed, and I am very grateful.

What is the history of throwing out the fish on the first goal scored by the UNH Hockey Team? This is a tradition that goes on and it gets the fans truly excited. As a student at the University, I loved the hockey games and that continues to this day. Go Cats!

There are families waiting to see the hostages freed. There is the credibility of American foreign policy. All are at stake if this cease fire deal is not approved.

Our President spoke. Each person will make his or her decision on the content of the speech. We were both first elected in 1972. I left at the end of my term. He is leaving at the end of his. Both of us spent 50 years in public service.

As the legislature begins its hearings, school funding is a hot topic. There are two court cases to be decided and then the legislature must act.

A huge debt of gratitude to the Lebanon Police officers who worked quickly to save the lives of those in danger of a fire at a home in the city. This is why these men and women pledge to serve.
